If we're waitlisted can we send an update letter?
Nope. In the FAQ section of CU's website it says they do not accept any updates or LOIs. Unfortunately >.<If we're waitlisted can we send an update letter?
+100000000Has anyone heard if the wait-list is moving yet??

Has anyone tried to send an update? I'm not trying to be annoying, but I just feel a lot has changed since when I interviewed last November...
Did they notify you by email or phone call? Also congratulations!!Accepted today from the waitlist! Good luck everyone, movement's started.
.Did they notify you by email or phone call? Also congratulations!!
I received both, although my phone was dead when Dr. Grenardo called. And thanks!
I would recommend calling the admissions office and checking to see if they would be receptive to an update. It's worth a shot to ask, however, I think it has been pretty clear that they are not per what was said at interviews and what is listed on the FAQ page online.
What number do you call? I've never been able to get past answer machines. Thanks in advance!
Two weeks.Congrats @TomHanks! How long did colorado give you to make a decision?
The two week time limit is the amount of time they give us to sign the Colorado residency form and the CU contract. Does the signing of the contract preclude us from considering any other schools for which we are still wait list
I don't think so, when I got accepted in April I had to sign them too. It's just to show that you accept the acceptance so they can hold your seat in the class. I'm still holding other wait list positions as well. Congrats on getting in to CU!!
Does anyone know if they've accepted the full class yet? The Facebook group only has 118 members and there has not been a big wave of acceptances like previous years. It still seems like they have a lot of spots but who knows
Those of you who were accepted off the wait list, did your status in the portal also change right away?
Well thats some negative news ....118 could be pretty inaccurate. consider the students accepted who didnt join the group and the students who withdrew their acceptance and haven't left the group. im willing to bet the class is at least 80-90% full at this point and ~20 more students will be admitted.
Had you already sent in your primary to re-apply?I was accepted June 25 of last year. They will accept students as late as a week or so before matriculation.
Not here. Still waitlisted, hoping and waiting for an email/call : )

Is there anyone who lives/knows the Aurora/Denver area who can give me the low down on housing? I'd like to purchase, if possible, and I'd like the scoop on the party areas vs the areas I might get shot. I'm thinking of staying in Aurora because the commute will shorter and the prices will be cheaper. Thoughts on this? Anyone know any good realtors in the area?
.has anyone heard anything about the Colorado spring branch?
Yeah that's all you need, although they take some times to get to you thoHey yall, I've got a few questions for accepted students.
For financial aid consideration, do I just need to fill out the FAFSA? No other steps?
Yeah that's all you need, although they take some times to get to you tho
Thanks for the info!Sorry forgot, you need the residency form thing submitted so they can determine your status

Just heard back from the admissions office. This e-mail was to prepare high-alternate candidates for any problems with their application on the off chance that they are accepted to the class of 2018. I wouldn't hold your breath chaps..... It's looking grim out there.
+1I'm in the high waitlist and I got the same notice.
Sorry mvtrinh. I figure straight forward honesty is better than pulling the wool over anyone's eyes.
Just an all around frustrating admissions process. Why bother posting pre-requisite notices? All it did was excite and then depress me. Well done... I hope they're happy.
