I'm really surprised no one on sdn got an interview. Currently hoping it's a technical problem on their end and they haven't actually sent out the IIs for today!

At the end of the interview day, I'm told that the admissions office will:
"...make sure you know exactly when to expect a decision from us...the date and the hour!"

What an awesome idea! I imagine this will really take away the stress of waiting for a decision.

To other SDNers interviewing on 9/6, when do you think the decision date for us will be (my guess is October 15th, which I believe is the earliest allopathic decision-day).

Also, is anyone going to pizza night + tour? Pending other plans to catch up with my host and friend from undergrad, I'm definitely going!

Ok, this supports my guess of October 15th. In particular, " At midnight on October 15, the first round of admitted students is notified."

Student hosting links should be somewhere in the material/links you received with the interview invite, I believe.

There should be a link on your status page that takes you to a table of available student hosts. Keep checking back though -- I checked in multiple times a day until finally there ONE host listed as available for my date (I'm guessing current students just sign up whenever they want to). I took that one immediately, in case no more were going to sign up.

Is on hold different than under review? I I've been under review since I submitted my app in July.

Yes, they do have a different status update that says something like "Application Screening Completed - your file has been reviewed, and at this point we will not be offering you an interview. Your file remains open and eligible for additional review."

I did not see a lot of people get this status last year though. It seems that most go from under review to interview or to file closed at the end of the cycle.
