I also meant to ask – anyone thinking of going to that event in March they emailed us about? The "Einstein at Home" day. Is it worth checking out?
If it's the same as last year, it's basically just a cocktail party where you can meet some of the faculty and some potential future classmates. It's worth attending if you're in the area, but not worth going out of your way for.I also meant to ask – anyone thinking of going to that event in March they emailed us about? Hey guys,
I just started to fill out the CSS profile for Einstein. Einstein is the only CSS requiring school I have. It only asked for my student income data.
I thought it was weird so I called the fin aid office and they were MAD surprised because that should not happen for applicants under 26 yrs old. They were like...uhhh we don't know lol.
Anyone else have this problem with the CSS and only have Einstein as their sole CSS requiring school? I am under 26 years old, which the fin aid office said was the age at which applicants were considered independent....so I should have had to fill out my parents' data.
I am thinking either the CSS messed up, Einstein had an error when telling CSS to require applicants to answer certain questions, or my personal CSS account is fudged up lmao.
Let me know if anyone figures this out or same similar results as me!
It's not really a second look because there's no sitting in on classes, or shadowing a student or whatever you'd normally do on a second look. It's basically just free food and an opportunity to speak with some current students and faculty. They also have a speaker or two. Not exactly the type of event that would show you new things about Einstein that you didn't already learn on interview day - that's why I wouldn't go out of the way to attend. Is this like a second look day or something?
It was a separate email sent out by the Alumni AssociationIs this in a separate email or in the first?
Call up the financial aid office. If you were already assigned one, they'll have it.Hey guys!
Does anyone know where/hoe we find out our Banner ID? Still trying to finish the Einstein fin aid stuff lol
Hey guys im applying this June and I wanted to asked you guys about the rec letter policy. I was a bio major, and I'm getting a rec letter from my bio professor. Does that mean I HAVE to get the second letter from a different science department? Thanks!
Great! I received the acceptance confirmation but thanks for clearing the air about the TS form haha I was more than a little worried because it's past the two week deadline for me.
hi guys! I looked back a few pages but didn't see this - does anyone know if Albert Einstein is done interviewing? Apologies if this was covered before!
I sent an update email yesterday, and they emailed me back today to let me know they updated my file.
I typically send updates as an attachment however einstein specifically requested the update in the body of an email.
I have the same questionquestion here guys... so I interviewed in Jan and am waiting to hear back. do you think a pre-decision letter of "I will absolutely come here" will do anything? or are these more for after being waitlisted?

I have the same question
I personally waited until I got the HP email. I think it makes more of a difference after they've made a decision than before.question here guys... so I interviewed in Jan and am waiting to hear back. do you think a pre-decision letter of "I will absolutely come here" will do anything? or are these more for after being waitlisted?

Yeahh, it surprisingly only took about four weeks for me. I got the feeling my interviewer would be really on top of the administrative stuff for this. They dont seem to send decisions out too frequently, but hopefully good news comes your way soon!Oy dude, I still haven't heard from them yet! You heard 2 weeks ago right?

[email protected]Where can u send updates?
I'm still waiting for a decision, but I saw online that the Financial Aid deadline was March 13. I already sent my FAFSA to Einstein along with the schools I have been accepted to, but Einstein also wants the CSS profile. It looks like they said you can submit your Einstein-specific financial aid form after (if) you are accepted, but it looked like the CSS profile was still due March 13. Does anyone know if that is actually the case? Einstein is my only school that requires it, so I don't know if I need to go through all the trouble if I'm not even going to be accepted.
I interviewed a little over two weeks ago as well---I know it's a super long shot for me but I'm just praying for a waitlist spot and seeing what I can do from there. It's such an amazing school!Still waiting also. Interviewed two weeks ago. Seriously loved this school. This late in the cycle, is it safe to assume we interviewed for wait list spots?
I'm down to start a prayer circleAlso waiting for my decision from mid-Jan. would give anything for a spot, but just trying to remain calm during the wait. PRAYING
Me too.
Just out of curiosity, what hooked you guys on Einstein? For me it was meeting/talking with the student tour guides.
I had personal family ties to Monte, so it's always been my dream. the school as a complete package is just perfect to me. the students were awesome, the location is awesome, the facilities are awesome. I couldn't find a flaw with it, hence why I'd do anything to attend. fingers crossed!
I didn't have any personal ties, but I agree with you on the location/facilities/students. I also really liked their global health opportunities.
Ugh, all this talk about this school is stressing me out again haha.
Best of luck to you!
To think I had a shot to live out my dream was just stupid of me. Just got rejected post interview? no clue why. good luck to you all.
