Someone mentioned that there was a describe your activities post-graduation essay as well. If so, can someone kindly provide the character/word limit?
dittoSubmitted secondary on 7-12, and it says my LOR was received 6-29...but my app still has an exclamation mark next to LOR & so the "application file" is still not complete??? Is this happening to anyone else? Should I contact them?
Are you going to call them if it doesn't change to "complete" soon?ditto
yeah I was going to give them to the end of the week. it is oddAre you going to call them if it doesn't change to "complete" soon?
Ok cool. Keep me posted!yeah I was going to give them to the end of the week. it is odd
I emailed them. They said the letters have been received and they are trying to fix this glitch in their systemOk cool. Keep me posted!
Awesome, thanks for letting me know!!I emailed them. They said the letters have been received and they are trying to fix this glitch in their system
Anyone have insight on this? How many letters are you guys submitting? Their website says that if you don't have a committee letter you should submit 2 (1 science, 1 non-science) but I'm wondering if its okay to submit more.
Well I'm submitting 7. Some may say it's too much but each one is strong and attests to different strengths so it's all dependent on you.Anyone have insight on this?

I'm applying to a couple of med schools this year, and I really want to apply to MSSM, but I fear it's a "way out of my reach" school. I'm a bit of a non-trad, so I'm concerned about the LOR requirements. I graduated from undergrad in 2010. I completed a master's degree in 2012, and was planning on submitting my science faculty LOR from there, but I have no idea of what to do for a non-science faculty LOR, since it's been more than 4 years that I graduated from my BS, and I don't have any non-science faculty LORs from grad school. Anyone know what I can do in this case? Also, just time-wise, would I still have a chance at being considered if I submitted my secondary in mid-August? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
It seems to have no character limit. But idk if it will be cut off when we preview the app for submission or not..The "How did you learn about the program" response has no word/character limit for me. Is it like this for anyone else?
"Once we have received your required letters of recommendation and most recent MCAT scores you will receive an email to confirm your application file is complete."complete feels nice
@Person0715 @DielsAlder Mine still is not "complete"....it's been over a week since I submitted secondary and a month since it says my LOR was received... According to last year though, the 1st II's didn't come out until Aug 21. So I'm not going to worry about it until beginning of August. Keep us posted if one of y'all decide to call them though please! 🙂
I forgot I posted on this thread lol. Anyway, I recently checked my status and I am complete. I do not know when it was marked as this though. They do not send application complete emails.
how long does it take for admissions offices to correspond by email usually if we email them? anyone email the office previously?
I actually got an application complete email the day I submitted my secondary. But I've seen many schools send emails to some and no emails to others. There doesn't seem to be a pattern.
+1 I would like to know alsoAnyone know when Sinai started sending out II's last year?

@invissideways Are you sure you're under the word limit? I believe the 200/250 limits include spaces and new paragraphs. It doesn't show up as cut off on mine.
@Temerit In the same boat...it says they're received on the right hand for me but the exclamation mark under "application status" is still there... I submitted 7/12, reference received 6/19...
+1, Had the green "complete" check mark for over 2 weeks but still no complete email.Hmmm, interesting. Nothing in the spam folder, I had to check again but I luckily have the green checks on everything.
Mine finally turned into a green check mark; don't know when though since I haven't been checking. Also didn't get an email about itDid you receive word about this letter of reference thing? It also says mine was received but there is still an explanation on the status page...
Are there significant gaps in time, greater than one year, that are unaccounted for in your application?
Does this refer to while in college as opposed to after graduation?
thxYeah, I interpreted this as breaks while in college.
Thank you! And glad you understood I meant exclamation not explanation haha.Mine finally turned into a green check mark; don't know when though since I haven't been checking. Also didn't get an email about it
I had that error too but I just used a different browser. It has something to do with cookies I think.
