Hey! that happened to me too. I worked it out by saving after adding each school. You could try that and see if it works.
 
Hey guys, so I was on MSAR looking at more info on the schools I applied to and I saw that the OSU interview format is one-on-one with a faculty member and a student who are blind to your MCAT score(s) and GPA. I thought that was kinda cool, but it means you definitely have to have good interview skills. Good luck to everyone!

Which site are you using to check? They have sent us so many links! I use the most recent one that came with the "status change" email. It isn't very specific and just says AMCAS and secondary received.
 
I was trying to log into the HR-ish website, but yeah I was trying to find the right links, but a lot of mine were broken 🙁.

I wonder when the first batch of interviews will go out. Seems they're running a bit behind last year...

Just to double check, we don't need to send our letters into OSU right away and they review without them? I'm waiting on a letter and trying to send that LOR to as many schools as possible, but it's delaying my application at most schools that require LOR right away.

I would call and ask someone if you can't log on at all. I think they are fairly receptive to helping people figure out IT problems.

Also having problems signing in to check my application status. I sign into the secondary app using a different username (the buckeye one) and now for the application status it's asking for my AAMC ID, and for the password I put in the same password I am using for my secondary. No luck.

On the secondary app as well, I am looking at the "App Recommendations" tab and I see nothing, even though all my letters were sent. Is this normal?

They sent an e-mail after I submitted my secondary. Go to:

https://medstar.osumc.edu/index.cfm?action=applicantlogin

Your password formula is: the FIRST LETTER of your AAMC LEGAL FIRST NAME + the LAST 4 digits of your AAMC ID NUMBER + the LAST LETTER of your AAMC LEGAL LAST NAME + the FIRST TWO digits of your AAMC ID NUMBER.

It's confusing because this password is different than the one you created to complete your secondary

This worked for me. Thank you.

When I went to check my status, it says "Awaiting Submission of Secondary Application." I submitted my secondary yesterday. Then, when I click on the link for the secondary application, it says "Application Status: Submitted" and at the very bottom, it says "Submit Date 07/28/2014."

Am I the only one with this issue?

No, it's been like that for me for weeks.
 
Congratulations! When were you guys with IIs complete?
 
It's lame that they only give one date as an option for the interview.

Did they give you other options or are you just waiting for them to respond with another option that they choose? I'll be in the Midwest on the week of September 17th and am hoping that I can schedule it then.

Waiting for them to respond. I selected the "reschedule" option as opposed to the "confirm" one. No new dates have popped up. Guess we're waiting for them to supply one?
 
How do you know if complete? I got email 7/22 that said status change and I log in and says secondary received... But next to letters it just has yellow box about how to send them... How do I know of they received them? Sent them last month..

I also got an email that my status had changed.

OOS, GPA >3.7, MCAT >33
I also have some things on my resume that exceptionally few applicants (and possibly none) will have, so while my MCAT is ok (or solid as a friend of mine likes to say), I believe the other things are what have gotten me some interviews so far this early on. I'm not sure the numbers alone are good jumping off points for assessment.

same here.. maybe they just haven't downloaded all the letters yet or something?
 
has anyones letters been marked as received?
 
Has anyone instate received an interview? I believe Ohio State starts instate interviews later if previous years' threads are correct.

I have not, complete same day as BMC 11. My stats are above average for the school. I spoke to my adviser who was friendly with the/a former OSU dean of admissions who said that the Ohio schools have a "gentleman's agreement" to not start interviewing in state applicants until a bit later. However he also said that they all seem to cheat anyways so who knows.
 
II this morning as well! I'm in-state. Before anyone asks, I was complete on 7/28 and have a LizzyM >70. I am psyched and this totally made all the hassle with the tiny window and six security questions worth it! 🙂

II too 🙂 34/3.8 OOS Saw on MSAR right now that out of 449 OOS interviewees, 89 matriculate-- does anyone know the stats of the number accepted? Just curious!
 
Does everyone who submitted just have a status of "AMCAS application received" and "Secondary application received?" Does it say anything about your letters anywhere?
