Anyone know if Tufts has an 8 year MPH/MD/PhD program? My college has a profile on its website of a student who is entering this program, but I have never heard of it. Or maybe he's just doing an SMP and my college is blowing smoke.

I did that for a couple schools that asked for any additional comments. For Tufts I think I wrote a "Why Tufts" type essay

II! 3.7-3.9/27-29, MD/MPH applicant.
Does anyone here know anything about the MD/MA program in International Relations? I know very few people do it and I've contacted Tufts about it too, but still haven't learned much at all. But for dual degree in general at Tufts, would you be paying for both degrees? My interview's in October and I have to get a whole separate application with separate letters of rec. prepared to apply for the MA program, so I really would be grateful if anyone helped me out or knew anything at all about this they are willing to share. Thank you!

I was complete on July 27.
I haven't heard of this program before. It may be that there is no official program, but instead people take 1 year off from the MD/PhD to pursue an MPH. Honestly though, I have a hard time imaging that it is ever worhtwhile to spend the time and money to get all 3 degrees before even starting a career.

Does the school send out "complete" emails (the ones that follow-up after secondary submission saying something along the lines of your app 'is currently being reviewed')? Or just the email that affirms your secondary has been submitted?

Does anyone know if Tufts is cool with "in the area" emails? I'm interviewing at BU next month and it would be really awesome if I didn't have to fly back over from Chicago in the event that Tufts offers me an interview. These flights are getting expensive!
