Hopefully! I've been waiting anxiously all day and they haven't sent out rejection/deferment emails yet. Assuming they only had two or three people on the phones it would make sense that it would take more than one day, especially since they started so late in the afternoon.

I hope you're right! Anxiously waiting here as well, glad I'm not alone! 🙂 just wish we'd get an answer already!!
 
Have a lot of people who interviewed in September still heard nothing? I interviewed Sept 11th...it seems like a lot of people from the sept 23rd interview day have heard back.

This is so frustrating... on my interview day they said the admissions committee would notify us by email on Oct 15th... just silence. I'm assuming since I didn't get a phone call I did not get in at this point...I wish they would just tell us one way or another. :'( This waiting is brutal.. it's like they are making me still have hope, but I know since I didn't get a call yet the chances are slim. I wonder how they decide who they are going to tell? I will never understand this process lol

I have a feeling everyone who was accepted so far got a call yesterday. And for those of us that have heard nothing I bet they are going to send out a mass email today saying we are deferred...

I share your exact sentiment, I interviewed on September 16th and have heard nothing. Im also assuming this means deferment or rejection, but I'd still like to get a notification of this either way. Such a stressful process 🙁
 
Just got the deferment email 🙁

Ugh I'm so sick of waiting, went through this process once before two years ago and was really hoping to get good news early this time. MBS student, interviewed Sep. 11th for anyone interested.

Haha.. I think I might know who you are.. I interviewed the 11th as well. yupp.. just the email too.... can't catch a break. Feel your pain.

I've had a bunch of friends get deferred and they barely ever take anyone off of it. You usually just sit on their deferment list all year it is awful.

I'm so sorry, I was interviewed and waitlisted by Tufts last year, interviewed in mid-September and ultimately rejected in mid-August. Its a terrible process and I'm reapplying this year. Hopefully you can send them 2-3 letters through the year to entice them to pull you off of the wait-list.
 
Hey everyone. First time poster here, although I have been following from the sidelines throughout. Got the acceptance call last night at 9:15pm. Interviewed on Sep. 11. I'm a grad student at Tufts, and I remember thinking that it was pretty weird that there was a Tufts undergrad, a Tufts MBS student, and me sitting at the same table on my interview day. I guess they are fans of Tufts students. Just wanted to say Congrats to everyone accepted and good luck/keep your heads up to everyone else!

Any recent dual degree II? Does anyone know if Tufts is receptive to update letters?

Only 30 minutes. I walked out of the interview feeling pretty good about my performance but looking back I see lots of things that I could have done better. I have had one other interview this season and I didn't feel this way following it. Any one have a similar experience? Thoughts on a possible outcome?

It seems that Tufts considers the dual degree application only after the applicant has been granted admission into the medical school. So unless you've already been accepted, it may take a little while longer to see some movement on the dual degree portion of this agonizing process. If anybody else knows otherwise, please let me know as well. Been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting....and waiting in case you all were wondering, which I'm sure you weren't. heh 🙂

260-270 applications, interview maybe about 150 of them (they only interview 7 or 8 people a week). Class size is 36 and they don't have to accept much more than that to get a full yield.
 
Any more Maine Track movement lately? Complete 9/15 and still waiting.. Lizzy score 68 and Maine Resident.

I'm hoping for some good news as well! Maine resident, complete 7/22, already interviewed for the regular track but still silence from Maine track. I haven't seen many people post about Maine track interviews so maybe they're just giving them out slowly?

Hey just wondering where you got these statistics from. Thanks! Also I believe the first round of Maine track acceptances will be going out around November 1st.

Info on applicants and yield is from here (it was 258 in 2013 but it's got up I think). The number of interviews granted is a rough guess on my part/I think I've seen a number close to that listed somewhere.

NH resident, 3.2ish undergrad GPA, 3.5ish SMP GPA (not the Tufts SMP), 36 MCAT, strong ECs/research/clinical experience etc.

I finished my secondary at the end of July, but my last LOR didn't get there until mid-September. I recieved the Maine Track II 10/13.
 
Anybody else having trouble uploading an update to the secondary application? It keeps telling me to keep the file under 4 MB (which it is) and that they only accept PDF files (my document is a PDF).
 
has anyone had a Maine interview yet? mine's on Friday, and I've spoken with a few students in the program about all sorts of things but I wanted to hear impressions from recent interviews!
 
I got the acceptance phone call earlier this afternoon! Interviewed early Oct. They initially told us we wouldn't hear our decisions until November but I guess they are ahead of schedule this year. Good luck to all those who interviewed in October!

Got the acceptance call about an hour ago! Interviewed on 10/9. Also surprised to get the call so soon because they told us to expect a decision the 2nd week of November. Congrats to everyone else who is getting the call, and good luck to anyone else who applied!

Okay thats what I figured. I expected some delay from Regular Track to Maine Track notifications. Congrats though!
