:/ just got an email from Tucs. saying I wasn't extended an interview but am still under consideration and may receive one later. What are the chances of getting an interview invite later on? Is this the same as a rejection?

I got the same email; I think it's a hold. Supposedly, people have come off hold to get an II so there may be some hope.
So here's my life story: Completed Aug 3. Hold Sept. 17. II Today Oct 17 🙂. LizzyM 69.
II!!! 🙂 Complete early August, initially put on hold, and now I have a shot at being a wildcat 😀

I was put on hold 8/12Congrats!
If I may ask, when were u put on hold? Before or after the previous poster at sept 17? Trying to gauge whether they're going in order of hold date when pulling applicants off the hold...or if it's random.
So far....
3 On hold ---> II
8/12, 8/15, 9/17
I hope it's a random process.
I'm somewhere in between.

Hello, just dropping to share, specially for you guys still waiting for an II.
Submitted secondary: 8/25
On Hold: 10/3
Interview Invite: 10/17
OOS, California. Non-traditional. 25 years old.
MCAT 31. sGPA 3.7
The only interview slot date available for me is Nov 15.
You guys, its not over till its over! Keep your head up, and do not stress out waiting for an interview. We have submitted our apps so there is nothing else we can change on that part. What we can control, however, is our attitude moving forward. Make everyday count. Enjoy the present. Your breakthrough is coming.
Everyone that doesn't get an interview at that particular review time gets put on hold, until the application is reviewed again. At which point, you can be invited for interview, or remain on hold.
For everyone freaking out about holds: don't. If you look at last years thread, there are numerous examples of people being taken off hold and receiving an II. If you want one from this year, me. I was placed on hold, and then received an II 10 days later for their first interview date. It is possible.
Yes! I got an II over 2 months after being put on holdDo you know if any people get outright rejected versus put on hold? Like, can it be considered a "good" thing to be put on hold in that it means they didn't immediately turn you down?

I interviewed on 9/16 and also have a red exclamation point for "File Under Review." I think I recall someone at my interview day saying this happens for all interviewed applicants at some point and not to react to it? I sure hope we find out next week!Hey did anyone get a File Under Review on their Welcome page? Mine has an exclamation point.... Checkmarks anyone and interview date??
It does. If last year is any indication, that will be there until you are given a decision of some type (in fact, it stayed even after I got the formal rejection email but my communication status tab changed.)I interviewed on 9/16 and also have a red exclamation point for "File Under Review." I don't remember it ever changing from the exclamation point...maybe someone else had a different experience? Thanks for the info! Does it ever change to a checkmark though, when you're actually being reviewed? or it just remains an exclamation point?

Is this the waitlist message? Super bummed, number one choice. Any one know if OOS later got acceptances off the waitlist?
Got the same email. I wasn't too surprised, especially as many of the students I've spoken with said they were placed in this category the first time around and then later accepted. Here's hoping we have the same result! 🙂"Dear Applicant,
