The one person who told me he/she was accepted said they received an email on a Tues/Wed I believe.
Are decisions based are a rolling process, in that everyone is essentially on hold until an acceptance/end of cycle?

Yes. Mass wait list. Only pre-II rejections and rejections once class is fullAre decisions based are a rolling process, in that everyone is essentially on hold until an acceptance/end of cycle?
Its been very quiet on SDN for UCR. Only 1 reported acceptance so far, and that was from the first groupI interviewed in the third group on 11/7... Has anyone heard back from that date? They should have reviewed our files yesterday, not sure when they will release any decisions
Last year things started moving in December, lets hope we get some SDN love soon!Has anyone heard back from the second group even? I have only seen one person on sdn who was accepted this cycle. Where is everyone???
Why the edit =/
I'd gladly forgo any presents this year for an acceptance haha!Xmas miracle? I loved this school... Fingers crossed for all of us!
No not yet, interviews usually go through March I believe!So... If we don't have an II here yet, are things looking bleak at this point?

+1 hoping I'm not out of the running yet!I interviewed on the second date, and they said that they would accept a select few applicants in December, but the majority would hear back by May.
Sooo glad I have OOS interviews the first two weeks of December otherwise I would curl up in my bed and desperately check emails all day.
Wouldn't it be pushed up since we have to give up multiple acceptances in April?I interviewed on the second date, and they said that they would accept a select few applicants in December, but the majority would hear back by May.
I believe its around May 15 when you need to give up multipleWouldn't it be pushed up since we have to give up multiple acceptances in April?

The million dollar question! So when in December?
Is statistics a prerequisite?
I read that too, but I was hoping it would disappear if I kept refreshing the webpageTheir website states that 12 quarter units of mathematics are required, to include calculus and statistics.
Well it is December! Lets hope for some acceptances for us!
Not necessary. They will provide you with a pen and paper for the MMI, but you might want to bring them anyway so you can take notes on all the stuff this school has to offer and to write down all of that financial aid info.Do we need a pen and notepad for the interview day?
We have some people at our school that don't have any ties to the inland empire, so don't lose hope yet!Has anyone from northern california or without inland empire ties gotten an interview invite? I'm from outside the inland empire, and I'm not expecting to get an interview bc of that =/.
II tonight!!! Only dates available were January 10 and 24; I was forced to go with the 24th since I will be on business in a different city on the 10th. So excited!!! 🙂![]()
August 1Congrats on the II. May I ask when you were complete?
Went a record of 24 hrs without checking my e-mail. Still nothing. Have the AdComs likely met about us and just said meh or have they probably not yet reviewed post-interview?
Trying to stay positive. I'll be worried when a bunch of you post acceptances and I am staring at an empty email. Until then I think we can't sweat it too much!Went a record of 24 hrs without checking my e-mail. Still nothing. Or you are right and we all sucked hence the recent II wave lol. Shall we be optimistic or pessimistic today?![]()
Per Dr. Lytle on interview day, the AdCom reviews post-interview applicants only on Tuesday nights (not sure if they also read pre-interview applications then too) and get through about 22 applicants each session. There are two groups per interview day so it might take at least two weeks to get through all of the applicants for a given interview date. My guess is that they'll probably release decisions (acceptances) some time after Tuesday (12/16) to also include the 12/6 interviewees. Moreover, this date seems to align with the 12/15 date stated on the MSAR. All just a speculation but we should be optimistic!
