Its eerily quiet here. When do they stop sending out interview invites...it has to be pretty soon?
 
Does anyone know when they interview until? And do they do silent rejections?
 
I am not in the loop, but I am sure they are sending out the last of their interview invites right around now. However, if you are an out of state applicant, your chances are about nil: I remember the graphic they showed us and out of state applicants hardly get any interviews because of the large applicant pool. If you're in state, you have a much better chance.

For all applicants reading this, this is a great lesson in why you don't listen to fellow applicants, or put much stock in quotes that start "I am not in the loop"

I interviewed last week. Somebody asked where they were in the cycle and we were told they are at the half way mark in terms of interviews done. I'm not sure what percentage of interview offers have been sent out though. I believe UC is receptive to updates. If you have not gotten an interview, it might be worth it to call the office and see if you can send an update.

Rejected post-interview. Talked to an admissions member to see where I went wrong. Seems like my application was impressive on paper, but when it came down to the MMI, I messed up bad. Not surprised though, I knew I botched it. Anyways, good luck to everyone else interviewing here. Cinci seems like a great place. Just don't mess up your MMI if you get the chance to interview.

I have firmly decided to go to UCCOM for medical school. I am currently in the process of looking for housing for the 2015-2016 school year, but would like a roommate. I have not found a resource for UCCOM that connects people looking for roommates so I am desperately posting on SDN. If you plan on going to UCCOM and are also looking for a roommate, please let me know! I am looking for housing close to campus (near one of the UC bus routes in Clifton) because I don't plan on getting a parking pass. Potential roommates should be female (I am also a female), and clean.

The group is quite small at the moment but it's still early. I know some classmates (first-years) who may start looking for roommates in the coming months.

Submitted Secondary 7/29/14, MCAT wasn't the greatest and OOS but have a high GPA and awesome ECs. Oh well, good luck to everyone else who's still in the running!
 
Just got a greetings email from admissions. It looks like there's only 6 interview days left, and 4 are occupied. With only 2 interview days open, I can only imagine that the criteria used to select qualified applicants are really stringent.

Ahhhhhhh things just got more intense!!
 
I wonder what the remaining dates are? I really love their transparency... it's needed throughout this process!

There are like 9 schools I'm waiting on that have sent out rejections, but I have been spared for now and I guess it's just like this.. I'm in the final pool for these final interview days. Crazy.

Also got the "you're still alive" email ...
 
I am constantly reminded of the saying, "You are unique just like everyone else."
 
Lol... I got it too. Doesn't seem like a very select group based on this activity.

I also just got the "you're not dead yet" email. Kind of surprised to still be alive. OOS, completed late, avg stats for this school. Hey, at least it's not a rejection.
 
I suspected they have yet to reject most people and chances are very slim, even if still hanging on 🙁
 
I figure everyone who they haven't had time to review and reject yet got the email lol. so much for being a special little flower

Very receptive, feel free to email them with regards to questions, updates, etc. I certainly did, and they were always very prompt in replying. If it is an update you want to send, they will take PDFs of any documents or so forth you might want to share--just be sure to include your AAMC ID.

I know this might not be the place for this, but UC is my number one school. I plan to apply to their early decision program. Any advice?
