Just received the acceptance call! Couldn't be happier.
The process seems to be moving faster this year than last. I know it is hard to wait, especially since you can't plan what to do next. Best of luck. I hope you get in.How much longer is there typically movement? I'm tired of being in limbo, I just want to know that I didn't make it already.

My status did not change so I called the office of admissions and they confirmed I was on the waitlist. I also tried to press for some extra information-the person I spoke to said the dean of admissions had been out of the office for a couple weeks so he didn't know much. He did tell me that he should know more about numbers and movement next week. I'll call back then and keep you all posted on anything I find out! Don't lose hope yet. Let's enjoy the time we have before the next cycle opens up!Did the status change for any of you guys on your status page? My biggest fear is that they may not have received my email to stay on the waitlist.

Per past trends it should be. But the trend doesn't have to hold this year. I think from here on offers will be sporadic, so I wouldn't wait for the phone call every weekday like you may have been in the past. Remember the email said they can make offers all the way up to August 21.Any word on movement? Because there are three waitlists, do we think the top will be cleared?
+1. I don't understand the process well enough to understand why an accepted student would give up a spot at this point in time. Its also less than two months till start of Orientation week. I wish somebody could provide some insight into how the waitlist moves over these last few months. Since those in the mid priority list were told that some of them will probably get in, I was thinking the high priority list would move a bit faster, and maybe it is but not reported on SDN 🙂. It's wait and see for now.Just adding another voice... IS male, WL on the 'high priority' list.
...and not a peep since responding to that email!![]()
Well it's a cascade effect. Someone holding a seat at CU gets off the wait list at their dream school then they will drop CU. That's the majority of movement at this point. People who are waitlisted elsewhere getting pulled off and dropping CU. So it's probably a very gradual process+1. Good luck man you'll do awesome!!!Well I have decided to withdraw and move on to the next phase of my life. Would have loved a chance at cu but my family and I are looking forward to an east coast adventure!
Good luck to those without other options, I hope I open up a spot for someone!

Has anyone that was accepted off the waitlist seen or heard anything from financial aid yet or been able to set up a student account?
I wonder if that's enough reason for things seeming really slow... Optimistic side says yes. But, I can't imagine that decisions couldn't be made without Dr.Z's direct presence.Hey all, long time lurker on this. For reference, IS applicant on high priority waitlist. I just called the office, and this is what they told me. Apparently Dr. Zehnder has been in clinicals for the month, so hasn't spent much time in the admissions office, therefore there hasn't been a lot of waitlist movement. The guy I talked to said what he has heard is that late June/early July is when more people start dropping out, so hopefully there might be more movement then. It sucks that it's more waiting, but I guess here's hoping for the best. Just wanted to let you all know what I found out since I know how annoying this can be.

I'm okay with getting in then (who am I kidding, I would be ecstatic), but it would be awesome to be accepted before resubmit my application for the next cycle and pay all of that money again. I can't wait much longer on the resubmit though.
Yup, good advise from @TheOtterpop . You really should submit ASAP. To price tag seems high in the short run but if you plan on dropping 200k ish in med school loans once you get in, what's another 1k to reapply. Charge it on your credit card it you have to. Rejected off mid-tier waitlist. Now I can focus full force on next year!
Yeah I wonder if it was just me.. or if other people got rejected too. You would think that the low tier would be before the mid tier...Sorry to hear that also, but at least you know where you stand and, like you said, can focus on next year. Here's to kicking butt in this next application cycle!
I wonder what made them send our rejections to mid-tier waitlist? Wonder if it means there has not been as much movement as was originally anticipated?
I don't think anybody 'fessed up to being on low tier (maybe one a while back?) And, none would probably want to admit they were rejected as well... Some response bias, I imagine.Yeah I wonder if it was just me.. or if other people got rejected too. You would think that the low tier would be before the mid tier...

Last week of June. First week of July. Has anybody heard anything?
I believe last year one person reported getting in on the 14th and another on the 26th. So there is still hope. But it's hard to plan anything without a decision.HOW MUCH LONGER!!!??? Anyone? Anyone? I'm starting to stress. Like majorly.
I can't imagine how hard it is for people who might have to move. I live in Denver and initially I was like "psh, no big deal, I'll just show up whenever they tell me to if I get in"... And now I'm worrying about giving notice at my job (I'm a career changer) and wanting to mentally prepare and maybe *gasp* have a little break between quitting work and starting school... Man, it'd be really nice to know now one way or the other. I guess I'll cope by working on all those secondaries. This is not fun.I believe last year one person reported getting in on the 14th and another on the 26th. So there is still hope. But it's hard to plan anything without a decision.

So you are saying there are four spots left? 😉 At this point it will be nice to know. Good luck everyone!I called the admissions office today to get an update. They said they are dropping half the wait list and they only have 4 slots to fill at this time. We should get an email- or maybe just the dropped folks will get an email- in the next couple days. Not as much movement as usual it seems. Fingers crossed for us all, but sounds like half of us are going to be disappointed and a few of us will be jumping for joy.
I'll just be over here working on secondaries for next year![]()

Just that they have 4 open spots to fill at the moment. And then whatever movement happens over the next month I suppose. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯So you are saying there are four spots left? 😉 At this point it will be nice to know. Good luck everyone!
I just hope they send out the notices soon so we can plan accordingly. By end of week will be great. Still hoping for the best.Just that they have 4 open spots to fill at the moment. And then whatever movement happens over the next month I suppose. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
