At this rate I doubt they will even exhaust the top 1/3 of IS.
I'm starting to think that too, ugh. At least it's still only May...
I keep trying to figure out where we are in relation to last year. We are essentially almost in June when you consider the drop date was moved up 15 days. I can't believe they haven't made it into the middle 1/3 yet. I have been following UK's thread and there hasn't been news since the first weekend. Weird stuff!
I sent them an email earlier this morning asking that same question but never heard back.

Just got an email saying they are not prepared to make any judgements on waitlist movement.
That's a sketchy answer. Was it Pamela Osborne that emailed you?
There was no name, just from medadmn. Thought it was weird too.
Not sure what that means either. I guess no news is good news?? Maybe after the 15th things may pick up??
Are there schools still using the May 15 deadline?
From what I can tell on the AAMC website the deadline as of this year was April 30th.
I actually am not sure. AAMC does say April 30 for the multiple accept deadline. But some other threads think maybe May 15 will show some movement too. It's pretty hard to tell. It seems odd there was so little movement compared to other years. So maybe we're not out just yet.

I think if there is no movement today the class is probably set.
I mean, that's pretty drastic. Wouldn't you also consider that there may be people who have accepted who are waitlisted at their top choice? It's very early to say that the class is set. Realistically the class isn't set until orientation week in July.
But I also bet a lot of accepted people haven't joined yet and probably won't until school actually starts. But I really hope you're right!

Not sure how many people are in each third. I'm middle third IS too, and I'm pretty sure they are still in the top third since there are people in this thread that are IS top third and haven't posted about getting in yet.

It's been a pretty crappy ordeal, they have exhausted the top 1/3 of IS since 2002, its shocking that they are still in the top 1/3 this late in the game.

I know, its really weird how little movement there seems to have been, especially since we had a 15 day start on wait list movement with the earlier multiple acceptance deadline. I do know several people who attend UofL now who were middle third IS and were eventually accepted in mid/late June. Which is when I would expect to hear anything if at all. So it can happen. Not giving up hope yet but preparing myself for the chance they don't reach the middle third. Fingers are crossed for both of us!
Yeah, I just don't get why it would be different this year of all years.

I'm guessing because of the record number of applicants secondary to the MCAT change.
Omg congrats! I feel like they would send out all acceptance emails at around the same time, right? Not optimistic I'll hear back today now 🙁 IS top 1/3

ThNk you! Yeah, I'm not so sure because others have been accepted at different times than I did on other days, but I see what you mean. I will say that my portal is not yet updated, so that is not reliable. Be confident!

I'm going to ask them to resend in. Apparently you have to do that, as well as have your transcripts sent in again. But your LORs don't have to be sent in when you submit. There's a different deadline for them, like in January 2016. Although I assume you must want them ASAP or how could they really review your application?

What ^^^ said. You have to get them resubmitted. I felt so annoying asking them to do it again but they were more than happy. There's not a huge rush on the letters since it'll take up to 6 weeks for your AMCAS to be verified and ready to be sent out to all of your schools, but definitely get your transcripts in today if you haven't yet so you can submit your app for verification ASAP. I'm also resubmitting tomorrow 🙁
