51i wonder how many 50+ is going to be...
was your status: "Application Received" before it changed to Under Review? Or was it "Application Complete"My status changed to "under review" just today so I doubt that, even if I eventually get an II, it will be tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
Haha, I honestly don't remember. I think it was "Application Received" though.was your status: "Application Received" before it changed to Under Review? Or was it "Application Complete"
Sorry to support the usual SDN neuroticism... but in previous threads, the first II's have seemed to be available online around 1:40/2:00pm, but emails get sent out a little later.Sorry to perpetuate the usual SDN neuroticism, but does anyone have any ideas about what time they will come out?
Im kinda in that anxious waiting stage after submitting most of my secondaries.

For my part, I refuse to check until tomorrow after 5:00pm, cause I can't just sit there and click refresh on my application page anymore.
Yes, I did.Anyone get an II?
I was given the choice between Friday, September 5th, and Friday, September 12th.What's the earliest interview date? Are they still given on Fridays?
+1 Same here! Probably saving the best for last... #possibly #butnotreally #stillhopefulMine still says "File Complete - Under Review." Not that I was seriously thinking I would get one. But I always have high hopes. ^_^
According to a few applicants from last year, some of them would get their II's early in the day, the rest wouldn't get them until midway through. It seemed to them that Michigan would sent out II's in waves, so as to not crash their system when everyone logs on and tries to upload pictures, select interview dates, etc.Congrats Wolverine!
What do you mean by them sending IIs out in waves?
Yes, I did.
Email/phone call/iPhone App?Yes, I did.
Also, last year they sent out 1 or 2 IIs early to fantastic IS applicants. So Wolverine probably fits that category. We wait until midday!
Thank you! I checked my secondary status online:Email/phone call/iPhone App?
How did you get the update? Cheers! Congrats.

Aw shucks, y'all are too kind. For all I know, they sent me one b/c I'm IS and an undergrad here.Apparently it's actually a tradition for them to do that. And I would definitely say Wolverine could be included in that.
In the meantime, I will just sit here and try to look pretty for UMich.
56 "will be" offered, or "have been" offered?56 interviews offered out of 2,551 applicants. geez!

I submitted on July 2nd, and was under review a day later. Remember though, they CAN'T have had time to get to every application. Don't sweat it just yet! When did you submit your application? Thanks! I submitted June 30th (app was stated "complete/under review" on July 2nd). I'm thinking that not enough time has passed? #paranoid
The question is whether they've put "56" on the tracker because that's how many they've decided on and will be offering today, or that's how many have actually gone out so far, noting wolverine's mention of release in waves across the day.have been offered thus far. on their tracker page: http://medicine.umich.edu/medschool/education/md-program/md-admissions
Not sure...If we don't get offered an interview today, will our status change to on hold?
Well.Not sure...
NOTE: Direct tweet from the UMich Med Admissions account: ALL IIs went out at 8:30a E.T. this morning.
I wouldn't be too concerned considering that some OOS superstars (cough GTLO) didn't get an II either, so lets hope you're right! To make myself feel better, I think most of these 56 IIs were to IS applicants only...
If you are an OOS applicant that got an interview...don't tell me, let me dream.
Woke up to an II after a super long overnight shift due to back ups at the CT scanner. So pumped!
OOS and they don't even have my committee letter yet!
they probably haven't compiled all of the statistics for it yet, but usually it is here http://medicine.umich.edu/medschool/education/md-program/md-admissions right in the tracker boxDoes anyone know where to find the powerpoint for the tracker?
