My status changed to "under review" just today so I doubt that, even if I eventually get an II, it will be tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Sorry to support the usual SDN neuroticism... but in previous threads, the first II's have seemed to be available online around 1:40/2:00pm, but emails get sent out a little later.

For my part, I refuse to check until tomorrow after 5:00pm, cause I can't just sit there and click refresh on my application page anymore.

I'm trying to not check until end of the day as well (my hopes are not high)

I was given the choice between Friday, September 5th, and Friday, September 12th.

What do you mean by them sending IIs out in waves?

According to a few applicants from last year, some of them would get their II's early in the day, the rest wouldn't get them until midway through. It seemed to them that Michigan would sent out II's in waves, so as to not crash their system when everyone logs on and tries to upload pictures, select interview dates, etc.
DISCLAIMER: everything I "know" about this is just secondhand information, word-of-mouth from previous applicants.

I got an interview invite! I just neurotically checked my U of M status page, before even receiving an email, only to see my status changed to "Interview Offered." My two options are 9/5 and 9/12.

Apparently it's actually a tradition for them to do that. And I would definitely say Wolverine could be included in that.

In the meantime, I will just sit here and try to look pretty for UMich.

When did you submit your application? Thanks! I submitted June 30th (app was stated "complete/under review" on July 2nd). I'm thinking that not enough time has passed? #paranoid

I submitted on July 2nd, and was under review a day later. Remember though, they CAN'T have had time to get to every application. Don't sweat it just yet!

The question is whether they've put "56" on the tracker because that's how many they've decided on and will be offering today, or that's how many have actually gone out so far, noting wolverine's mention of release in waves across the day.

I wouldn't be too concerned considering that some OOS superstars (cough GTLO) didn't get an II either, so lets hope you're right!

On Hold as of today. Status page says the following: "Your application has been reviewed. At this point we are not able to offer you an interview. Your file remains "open" and eligible for additional reviews. Final decisions for all candidates will be made the first week in February. Thank you for your patience."
