well my secondary has been in for over 6 weeks, but my committee letter took forever. maybe they reviewed me and were just waiting on the letters? I'm not sure. just excited!

My impression from the dean was that it would be this week... he didn't give a hard date though. I really hope its today though!

Yeah got an email for waitlist. I also interviewed super early. We shall see...

Wait listed as well... Pretty disappointed but I'm trying to remain optimistic (not a rejection). Congratulations to those who were accepted already! That's quite the accomplishment.

I interviewed in first week of September and really considered that to be a positive sign. When I left my interviews, I thought they had gone really well and I felt very confident. I guess it goes to show that you can never be certain. It's going to be really hard waiting until "late spring to early summer" since this is one of my top choices. I will send out my email to let them know I'd like to remain on the wait list and also some update information to add to my file.

How many individuals do they wait list? How many are usually accepted from the wait list pool?

Good luck to everyone else!

Don't be discouraged! I don't have any specific numbers for you, but I did talk to multiple students during my interview who had been accepted off the wait list. Do you know if Rochester tells you your wait list position?

I interviewed the second week of September and I am still waiting to hear back. I also felt like my interview went well, but I'm guessing I am on some form of silent hold since I didn't hear with everyone else. Good luck!
 
Ah man..waitlisted as well. Love this school! I want to stay positive about getting off the waitlist.

I felt the same way about my interview and I had it around the same time as you. Regarding numbers, they said that they had 600 interviews to give out of which 240-250 would be accepted. So idk where the wait list falls into that.

Also has anyone been rejected?

Interviewed on 9/19, accepted via email today.

The number of accepted students includes everyone who is offered an acceptance throughout the cycle, including those accepted off of the waitlist.

I'm in the same boat! Didn't hear anything today. I hope it doesn't mean a rejection

Maybe tomorrow? wonder what kind of order they are going through... a lot of us haven't heard anything that would be a lot of rejections... I'm trying to stay positive
 
Still haven't heard anything... Anybody else interview in September still waiting for a decision?

They may just not have gotten to our files yet for whatever reason. Keep the faith my friend, they haven't forgotten about us!
 
Anyone interviewing on Oct 27 want to share a hotel room? M1s and M2s have exams on Monday so I am having trouble finding a host. PM me!
 
Hi, I know everyone is oober preoccupied with acceptances (best of luck to all of you!), but I working on my pre interview essays and was wondering if employment counts as an "extracurricular" experience?

*cough* sub-30 interviewed 10/10. Complete mid August..Lizzy M mid 60s
 
Has anyone gotten their acceptance information in the mail yet? I'm anxiously awaiting it!
