For those accepted, does it show up on your secondary status page at all? Or is it only through e-mail? Thanks!

Not on the secondary status page, but I do have an extra tab along the menu bar that says "Offer Letter."
When is your interview scheduled for? Finally got a II here yesterday! Could not be happier 🙂
OOS, complete mid July
When is your interview scheduled for?
Oh, I received an ii about a month ago for mid-January. I was just curious how deep they were.Late January, but from last year's thread they keep interviewing into February, and a lot of people who interviewed on those dates got accepted without being out on the wait list!

stats? USC definitely seems to favor the higher MCAT scores...

mostly because it's getting really cold here and I want an excuse to visit LA againCome on USC! I'm still very very very interested~~~~~
I think the complete email states no updates? In any case, that's what I have in my notes. Is USC receptive to pre-interview updates?
Will it be daytime or nighttime?I plan to take the bus from the airport to union station, then walk <2 miles to my hotel that's in Chinatown. Anyone know if this is a safe area to do that? Any other recommendations?

As an LA native, I would feel comfortable walking the two miles, but once you get there I would feel it out. If you feel uncomfortable, just über or take the bus. Only reason I'm saying that, is because you'll be carrying luggage.11am

Edit: Interviewed 10/28
Interviewed 10/31 and still nothing...bad sign?
I applied to Keck and got a secondary application.
I also applied to the all of the other UC schools (and some others out of state), but did NOT receive secondaries from them.
I just wanted to ask you guys how much screening Keck does with sending out their secondaries and whether I should keep my hopes up.
Did I just throw $100 away??? I mean, I would have filled out the secondary regardless and paid my dues to see what would happen, but the after being rejected by so many schools, I just want to know that this isn't false hope I'm clinging on to and move on with my life.
(MCAT 27; GRE 311; Undergraduate GPA 2.54; Graduate: 4.00 + a boatload of EC and strong recommendation letters from the director of my college and research PI).
Keck does not screen for secondaries. Your GPA and MCAT are pretty low though so that's probably what is hurting you most.
So false hope eh?

Rejected just now. OOS, complete 7/31. LizzyM ~69 so I can't say I'm surprised. They held on to me for a while longer than I expected, though. Guess I'm staying East of the Mississippi.
Sorry to hear that. When were you complete?

+1 LizzyM ~68Rejected as well. Complete mid August LizzyM ~ 76. Sad :/
Until they reject you, you still have a chance my friend!Complete 8/5 and haven't heard anything yet... my chances for an II still alive? LizzyM of about ~72-73.
I was complete on 10/8. Can't say I am surprised though since Keck seems to be more numbers-focused than others. Rejection letter was brief, but polite and consistent with their overall hands-off approach.
We are grateful to you and to thousands of your colleagues across the country for applying to the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Unfortunately, I am writing to tell you that you have not been chosen to interview this year. I still hope that your desire to be of service will be fulfilled.
We receive and evaluate a large number of well-qualified applicants each year. Due to limited time and resources we cannot provide feedback to you about our evaluation of your application. Should you have any questions, we strongly recommend that you consult with a pre-health advisor. The National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP.org) provides volunteer pre-health advisors for applicants that do not already have one.
On behalf of the faculty and students here at Keck, we thank you for taking the time and effort to apply to USC.
