+1 to drowning in the small pool. I think I was small pooled around 8/13

I was just put under review today and I have been complete since mid-July. I'd say give it a little more time.
 
Small pool status today, has anyone gotten a status other than small pool after their preliminary review? Wondering if this "small" pool is just everyone who's app has been reviewed.
 
Checked status and im put on hold because of one of my letters. Emailed them now waiting.

I suspect that some people just are never small-pooled (i.e. silent-rejection). Looking through last year's thread, it appears to no one received a rejection until very late in the cycle. However, many people appear to be small-polled and then are not offered an interview.
 
Submitted my supplemental application during the first week of August and I'm still at the "Your supplemental application has been received. Please note that it may take 6-8 weeks for all materials to be processed" status. Anyone else in the same boat?
 
Yep - same here. This is the only school where I'm not complete and it's one of my top choices.

Submitted mine 7/24 and still there. In UVM's defense, it's really beautiful there and I'd rather be out in the mountains than reviewing applications as well.
 
I only just now discovered this school and it's friendly attitude toward OOS. Do you folks think that adding this school to my AMCAS at this point will be futile since it takes so long to process my info? All of my primary info is complete and reviewed. 30/3.7 OOS.

Im on that too and its been about 8 weeks

Does yours also say "...at certain times of the year, it may take as many as 10-12 weeks." ?
 
Submitted 7/21 as well and small-pooled 9/16! First response from any school in over a month!

Click the Interviewing @ UVM link on the Online Applicant Portal. Read through the information and they have a link to the google docs survey for student hosting.

actually, now that i'm reading the interview page i have no idea what this "nine-person circuit" is. does sound suspiciously like a MMI, though i thought i had pretty reliable info (MSAR and an adcom source, though this was a couple of months ago) saying it was a single faculty interviewer. oh well, can't hurt to practice

Last year it was a single interviewer (not necessarily faculty) but apparently they've changed it.
