Anyone still on this?
"Your supplemental application has been received. Please note that it may take 6-8 weeks for all materials to be processed. You should continue to periodically check on the status of your file through the Online Applicant Center. We appreciate your patience!"
Its been like 2 weeks

Is this a joke? I mean it says 6-8 weeks right there.

And people got small pooled already so obviously it does not take this long

Patience, it's gonna happen when it happens.

Go back a page and see the small pooled apps then

I edited my post while you were quoting it to specify that I mean for me, but what's your point? Some are fast and some people have been small pooled. Some haven't, so it may actually take 6-8 weeks. We'll just need to be patient.

It probably means you aren't small pooled, no worries, neither am i

Don't lose hope! It seems those who were small-pooled had a status change to "preliminary review" before being small-pooled. There may have been a larger volume around July 22/23 since those who were small-pooled submitted before that/around that time and I have not seen any later small-pool posts yet. There may just be a bottleneck in the admissions office.

crossing my fingers as well, process is def stressful
usually im pretty laidback but i feel a small neurotic monster trying to come out

Someone posted a while back that iis are supposed to go out this week. Anyone heard anything?

Cmon we both know it never takes that long, they just say it to cover their ass

Uh, it absolutely CAN take that long... took the full 8 weeks for me last cycle for both processing and review (so 16 weeks total).

For what it's worth I submitted the secondary on 8/8 and was small pooled by the time I checked again the next week.
Now back to checking the portal every free second of the day.

Same for me although I submitted a bit earlier. Are you IS? I'm wondering if they treat those apps differently (like maybe they small pool them immediately instead of doing a prelim review?). Regardless, I am also checking the portal every few minutes in hopes of an II popping up!

No I'm OOS! Hopefully not for much longer… 😏

Hey guys,

For those of you who have been small pooled, how long after the secondary were you small pooled?

EDIT: was freaking out about not getting a secondary but I literally got on one minute after my original post. So how long after you guys submitted the secondary did you hear that you were put in a small pool?

You guys I think maybe @pg22aw was just messing with us and really has no idea when UVM is sending out IIs 😛

(for the record, I am just kidding, trying to lighten the mood ya know)

I talked recently with a member of the admissions committee who told me that the interview format this year is changing. Instead of doing one hour+ long interview with only one person, each interviewee will now be doing several small interviews of about ten minutes. It was described as speed-dating interviews. No word yet on when invites will be sent out though.

So...MMI?

It's on the website, you will "participate in a circuit where you will speak with nine interviewers."

That's kind of annoying. Although I guess it's easier than talking to one person for a straight hour.

Mid-July. Probably three or four days after secondaries went out. I am IS as well.

Yup, should make it more fair. I hear the emeritus professors were especially harsh on candidates.

My PI is an Emeritus professor at Harvard Medical School. You should hear what he says to me, sometimes.

Small pooled, complete mid-late July, OOS.

Sorry if this is already in the thread and I just missed it, but has anyone OOS been small pooled yet with an II?
