Thanks, I sure hope so, but I wasn't complete until a week after you so I'm not holding my breath. Good luck in your interview!

When is the interview? Did they give you a reasonable notice so that you could open your schedule?

My interview is at the end of this month. They give you the option to request a reschedule, for which they'll send you a list of alternate dates within 5 business days, but that makes me nervous lol what if they send dates for later in the cycle?

I actually have something underneath the "forwarded for preliminary review" tab. It just says "interview" and the date my interview is scheduled for. Maybe Rachiie's portal will be updated soon.

**Edit: @rachiie01 maybe the tab I have won't show up on your portal until you accept the interview date they scheduled you for?

Oooh maybe! I can't accept the date until I work some things out at work first 🙁
 
I've officially joined the "on hold" party. Honestly I don't expect to be taken off and I actually feel oddly relieved. Now I can stop thinking about it. The only options left are to be pleasantly surprised by an email in a few months or receive the expected rejection sometime next spring.
 
For the forms, do we need to print them out and sign them by hand, scan them, and then upload them? Or can we just download the document, do an electronic printed signature, and then upload them?

The only one that said you could do an e-signature on was the admission application form. The rest I downloaded, signed, scanned, uploaded
 
Congrats you guys! Could you tell us when you were forwarded for preliminary review?

The confidentiality form also said an e-signature was acceptable. I think it goes without saying that the other 2 documents you can e-sign as well.

Btw, IS, 70 LizzyM, Forwarded for preliminary review 7/23, II 9/9, Interview 9/30
 
Does anyone know the rough timeline from "complete" status to "forwarded for preliminary review"? Thanks!
 
II ~3 hours ago! They picked my interview day for me (with the option of other days if needed). Is anyone else interviewing on 9/30?
 
Received a letter in the mail today and was expecting it to be a rejection letter but turned out to be asking for donations. Does anyone know if rejections are also emailed or will it be sent in the mail? Just want to prepare myself for a possible let down. Positive side: still have a chance!
 
Secondary submitted on 7/27 and forwarded for preliminary review 7/31
 
So I checked my portal today and it said my secondary was received 7/25 but my letters has a red exclamation mark next to it. All of my letters have been received by AMCAS since mid July. I emailed but have received a response, should I just call??

Call. You paid the application fee, paid for their services. They work for you.

So I did call and basically they gave me an "oh, oops!" Great. Now I lost two months of a rolling admissions cycle

MSU is very good about hving seats avaiable no matter when/if you interview in the cycle. So dont worry🙂
 
On the status section of my application all categories have a green check mark beside them, but for Application Complete - Forwarded for Review there is still a red exclamation mark. Does anyone else have the same issue?
I’ve completed the secondary application on Aug 14 and 15 days ago the final MCAT score was released. I called the admissions office and they told me to send an email to [email protected] , which I did. I am worried because the status has not changed yet.
 
Anyone else doing some last minute website rummaging trying to prepare for this MMI tomorrow??

From my one experience with MMI I can say that the best advice out there is to not try to prepare answers because the scenarios are going to be very unpredictable. Just be yourself and you should be fine. I think tomorrow is going to be a lot of fun!
