Submitted Secondary on 08/03. All my letters were received before the secondary. Still not complete. I wonder if this is normal.
Obviously, no II yet, but I refuse to give up on the dream.

They do not send complete emails. Just check the portal for a green checkmark next to a "complete" line.

Just received the secondary an hour or so ago. OOS non tradition with a lizzy score of 68. No real reason to believe I have a chance other than some interesting ecs and a unique story.

I'm adopting this exact mentality 8/20 UCSF, COME ON BABY!!!!

ok, I can admit the ridiculous level of neuroticism only on here. Actually for the most part it's been pretty good (too busy to be too crazy) but every once in a while it hits and I'm SO GLAD I can stalk SDN for school secondary updates (no one IRL can know I occasionally hit these points--I maintain my "cool" demeanor, darn it!)

And on that note: *makes ridiculous gestures for good juju!!!

Same here. Got an email yesterday! There's still no way they'll extend an interview invite. Submitted anyway because I'd just kick myself with what ifs otherwise. Hope everyone's application cycle is going well!

Hi everyone, I have a basic question. The secondary says we need to submit at least 3 LORs. I submitted a pre-med committee packet from my home university, plus an additional letter from my current PI boss man. I believe the committee packet consists of just one letter from a pre-med advisor, in which he summarizes the rec letters submitted by 3 of my professors- so it's like a 3 in 1 deal. However, the committee letter is still just one letter. So my question: do you think the committee letter + additional letter from PI will meet the "at least 3" requirement?
