Is there a list that shows when the AEC meets every month? I know they had it somewhere. Trying to gauge when I should hear back from UMich if my interview is on the 13th of November.

You'll hear back Dec 15th, I think. I'm pretty sure they release the previous month's acceptances on the 15th of the following month.

Did they say that at your interview date? Looks like its going to be a long wait for me 🙁 I remember a few years back where they promised that you'd hear within two weeks (after October 15th), guess that changed.

Yeah a lot of schools are adapting this semi-rolling process under the premise that it stresses out applicants less to know the exact date that you'll hear back. Hopkins, UChicago, and a bunch of places now do it

@lilyhgt looking at last year's thread, looks like most people received emails at 12:15 AM CENTRAL time, which will be like an hour from now...idk...either way good luck!

I know someone who got the email. Good luck to all and congratulations to those accepted!!!!!!

Just notified of a deferral...so...still *slightly* hopeful, but not really, haha. Best of luck to those of you interviewing here in the future! You'll have a blast!

Right! That's what we were told. After interview they take a month.

That was really difficult to watch....I am literally crying right now.

The punter played well the entire game. He screwed up there, but I was sure at least someone would tackle/get him out of bounds. but wow thats just ...

Almost as good as the ending to the 2013 Iron Bowl.
I'm a Spartan, so YEAH, but live in Ann Arbor and was at a friend's house near the Stadium. Watching the fans walk by with that look of defeat was sad.
U of Michigan is my number #1, so I say Go Blue!! State may have better football, but Michigan has better med school!!

I wouldn't even say that state has a better team. Things just went their way this time. If they played again who knows.

My Texas A&M Aggies fell hard core against Alabama. Those 3 INT's that are returned for TDs killed our chance for a comeback. I am hoping for an SEC West havoc to occur. 🙁 I feel bad for that punter losing the ball to MSU. Although, I find it interesting though that Texas A&M and Michigan are tied for 15th in today's AP poll. 😉

Doing MMI prep and had a question: are we given the opportunity to write down notes while we're reading the prompt?

Not really, but you really don't need to. Honestly MMI isn't really something you can prep for. It's basically a conversation.

Yea they tweeted. 6 IIs went out for 4 states.

Do you all think if I completed my application in Mid-July and haven't heard anything back yet I should just give up on this school? Trying to remain hopeful, but I don't know how the interview process works for Umich. Any help/insight is appreciated!

Check the interview tracker, are your stats competitive with OOS?? If so, don't lose hope. If not, well . . . . OOS interviews are almost all gone per the 10/5 tracker, plus the 11 last week and 6 this week. U of M process is pretty transparent with number of OOS interviews, and how many were given so far. Good luck to you.

Will the interview day end early enough for me to catch a 3:15 airport shuttle from the Blake Transit Center (maybe a ~10 min uber ride from the admissions office)? The website says the interview day ends at 2:30, but I'm not sure if that schedule is followed closely.

Yes! The interview day indeed ends at 2:30pm, possibly a bit earlier! They make sure the schedule is followed closely. I had a 5:10pm flight and made it no trouble. I would've taken the 3:15 shuttle from Blake Transit Center, but it was sold out. So I took an Uber around 3:15pm and got through the airport with time to spare.

Ok I'm putting my trust in you and getting the 3:15 shuttle! In case that doesn't work out, how much was the uber to the airport?

Secret if security lines are long at the Delta terminal, there is a security check in through the Westin Hotel entrance (go down the escalator, and near the check in desk you will see a one line security post to get into the gate areas -- no one is ever in this line). This only works for the McNamara Terminal. If you are at the North Terminal for other airlines, you can't use this security line. However, I've lived in Michigan a long time, and mid day is usually not a problem at the DTW airport. Later on a Friday or holiday though it can get really backed up. If you are coming this week, we are having great weather, in the 60s!! No need for the warm woolies yet (but no promises as it gets closer to December).

Looks like I'm at the North Terminal. Hopefully the lines won't be too crazy. Thanks for the advice!

How casual is the pizza dinner the night before? Like can I just wear jeans and normal clothes?

Yes, very casual. See some of the pictures on the twitter, shows students very casual. Enjoy. My turn isn't until December, when it is cold. It is very warm here in Ann Arbor, in the 60s today.
