How's everyone preparing for the MMI format? Is it mostly common sense (framing the question, compassionate solution, etc.) with a few "standard interview" questions?
 
Finally small pooled. OOS complete sometime mid-July
 
Does anyone have an idea about what percentage of applicants who are small-pooled are eventually offered interviews?
 
Just got small pooled!!! Not sure how excited I should be, but I'm super happy it's not an outright rejection!!

When were you complete? Did they send you an email or did you just check the student portal?

Because I had some spare time and reeeeally like data, I went spelunking for numbers. Of the 246 applicants who posted in last year's UVM thread, 152 were small-pooled, and 106 of the folks in the small pool were interviewed.

Moral of the story: a lot of people drown in the small pool, but it's still better to be in it than out of it.

Interviewed here yesterday! Burlington is gorgeous, and I really enjoyed my time here! The facilities are very nice, and everyone was warm and welcoming that I met! The MMI was interesting, some stations went better than others, as expected (a few really threw me), but overall hopefully it went okay. The teamwork activity was also very enjoyable 🙂 We signed confidentiality agreements so can't disclose anything but you will definitely enjoy it.

I was there yesterday as well! I loved the school. I wonder if we met, haha. The MMI was fun for the most part. There was one station I didn't like much. It was the sort of unconventional one. Obviously I can't say more than that, but you could probably guess which one it was. The teamwork activity was super fun and totally not stressful! Probably my favorite part

If you met someone from Maryland that was potentially me, otherwise then nah we didn't meet. But for those who are wondering group size, there was a large amount of folks, not sure how many exactly, but more than normal.
 
Any recent IIs from people who were small pooled?

I believe there were 72 total there on Saturday. Amazingly, UVM still made the experience seem very personal. I was rather smitten with the school as it reminded me a bit of my undergrad campus. Hoping for some good news come mid-late October!

Wondering if you met people from sdn this weekend...
But like everyone said it was an awesome day, easily my number one choice of my current interviews
 
Seems like UVM is due for another batch of II's.

got the II email on 9/1! submitted secondary 8/18.. OOS, 30 MCAT, 3.2 GPA

I submitted my application and received the II the same days as you. I'm pretty excited to have the interview on Halloween haha
 
Seems like the most recent invites came out early September... So hopefully we're due for another round soon!!
 
Also, not sure if this is relevant, but it's Family Weekend at UVM starting today, so maybe they'll be more admissions activity once that is over and done with!

Family weekend is only for the undergrad campus. The AdCom members are probably sorting through the past three interview groups and still working on all of the applications. They do go outside of the processing window stated on the application. This app process will test your patience!
 
II just barely as well! After 2 months of nothing, this week has been outstandingly generous to me so don't give up hope people! Small pooled a few weeks ago...2 or 3 maybe?
 
So maybe today theres another round for interviews, good luck to all, waiting has been stressful bc this is one of my top choices. But I hope to meet you guys on interview day!
 
UGH anyone else submit early August and still not been reviewed?
