Well normally portals change the day before so maybe they are sending them tomorrow?

I agree, it probably won't be tonight. I was waitlisted last year, reapplied this year, interviewed in August, and still have not heard anything. So this is the 8th acceptance date that I've had to suffer through and in my experience if it doesn't go out by 6:30 it will be the next day.

I feel your pain brotha (or sister). It might be like it was this past December (see December pages, ~ pages 53-54).
 
For those of you who got a portal update, did you receive an email?
 
So someone was accepted, I guess that means we didn't get in.

Yeah I've never seen the updates go out on the same night as the acceptances, it's always the day before. So I also think that one is a troll and the acceptances will go out tomorrow.

So...that's it then. Guess that means we cross our fingers we make it on to the waiting list...
 
I interviewed with VCU and have never gotten an email in regards to anything......how will I know if I get off the waitlist? ☕

Why would her's be any different than it is for the rest of us?

It wouldn't be. If it's not a troll and she actually got one tonight, than the acceptances did in fact go out and we can all just hope for a waitlist. It's just odd that only one person from this thread heard and it doesn't fit the pattern of the updates going out the day before. But if Amelie is real congrats!

It is odd...but far from impossible. Only 50 acceptances out of the massive numbers of us on hold, and for those 50 to be SDN members, and post as soon as they hear something vs. doing cartwheels and starting their celebration antics...plus you'll usually see acceptance posts trickle in as the night goes on.

Anyway - SOMEBODY has to be next on the list and was passed up by just one spot...hopefully it was one of us! Best of luck to all and hopefully we'll be celebrating with the rest of them before the summer is out!

The new MSAR list # taken from waitlist for some school. VCU reported 75 taken and more come off the OOS waitlist than IS (they don't give an exact breakdown, but estimate maybe 40-50 OOS)

Is there any way to tell how many come from OOS vs IS?
