We have a "mixed" curriculum. We have basic science lecture 8am-12pm M-F and usually have 1-2 TBL assignments each week.

Do they record lectures? Mandatory attendance?

Generally all lectures are recorded. Attendance is only mandatory at graded assignments.

Can you talk a little bit about next steps in terms of after acceptance? I paid the $100 fee and filled out the Matric form. But now what? Also, I didn't receive an e-mail confirmation that my payment was received - should I call the office to check that it was?

There should be something on the portal noting that your deposit has been received, but I'm unsure of the next steps. It def won't hurt to call the Admissions Office and see if there's anything else you need to complete.

Once this review is complete, you will receive a status update etc." message. Now it says I am currently being reviewed by the Sub-Committee to determine my eligibility for further review (lol), so I am glad to see some movement. I was complete kind of late (early Sept) as I never got any emails and saw my secondary late. Hopefully this helps someone get an idea of when they should see some progress.

My only acceptance so far, but lots of irons in the fire. We'll see, but I did like Richmond and VCU, and would be happy to attend if schools that are closer and cheaper don't come through!! Large Level 1 Trauma Center in an academic institution is definitely a plus (versus a community based program).

I am an out-of-state student, and my preliminary application was received Aug 3, and I haven't heard back from them since.
----Does this school do 'silent rejections'? Or after how long do you think that I have no chance?
----Can any OOS (stats please) tell me how long it took for their status of to change?
----Any OOS have experience (with stats please) of the longest they had to wait for an interview invite after that change?

Concerning the AMCAS app I was verified on 26 july and they agve me my secondary on 6 August. Submitted on the 11th but my applications seems to be gathering dust or probably will turn to dust by the time they get to me 😡-->:-->😢

Not worth the effort, honestly. I was complete 7/6, still haven't moved out of the initial review, so I called them...apparently someone has had my application checked out to review it since early August and just hasn't bothered to give an evaluation yet. The admissions staff were nice and all, but it just seemed that they could not care less about the delay and there was nothing they could do anyway.

I decided ages ago that my reviewer fell asleep on the couch, surrounded by a weekend's worth of empty pizza boxes and 2L bottles of soda, my app slipped into one of the open empty boxes, and was cleared by a disgruntled roommate as she angrily cleaned and simultaneously woke my reviewer with a rant.

...apparently my reviewer is the compilation of every college roommate that's annoyed me, rather than a middle-aged professional living in their own place. Whatever, if they won't give me updates I'll continue to make up my own fun/colorful ones! 🙁 → →

I like that plan however now I want pizza. Maybe a gust of wind swept up some applications as they all flew into the ocean while our reviewer was on vacation. That one sounds majestic.

just got the "MAY" status...submitted my secondary at some point between mid and late august! not really sure what this status means but at least it appears things are moving (though obviously slow AF)
