Does anyone know when they stop making calls for the day? I'm starting to get so antsy!
 
My acceptance call was made at 5 pm so maybe they might still be there grinding out phone calls
 
I got my acceptance call at 5:46pm central time! The Dr. I talked to said she was behind in making calls so maybe they still have people to call! Good luck to all! So excited to get the call. Definitely was anxiously awaiting the call all day. My portal hasn't updated yet though.

Congrats!! Interview date?
 
Those accepted today, is there a place on the portal to pay a deposit fee? I can't seem to find where I would submit that.

They will mail you an official acceptance letter and a letter of intent to fill out. Simply fill it out and send it back and your spot will be held unless you decide to let it go (for another acceptance). No fees!

Hi! I am assuming you are a Loyola Med student? I just got accepted and would love to ask you a few questions about your experience, would it be ok if I PM you?
 
Withdrawing post II. Scheduled date: Nov 29th.
 
I interviewed on the 6th of October and we were told that Oct. 17 would be too soon to hear a decision, so we should wait for Dec. 15. Today I received an email that said I had a status update, which read that my file review is complete and I am under continued consideration. Does that I was considered for the Oct 17 date and didn't get in? Anyone else receive this update?

Congrats to everyone on the acceptances! I just got an II. Quick question, what do these interview days look like? When do they start and when are they finished? I am trying to figure out my travel schedule. Thanks for any feedback!
 
I did not get this email or update and I interviewed 9/15. Does this mean I was rejected, and they're just waiting until spring to tell me? I can't remember when they do rejections.

I would think that if I were continued, I would have gotten the email...

Also, does anybody know when/how often they meet for admissions decision?

Interviewed early September and got a status change today -
"Thank you for your interest in the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. Your file has completed review and will be given additional consideration throughout the duration of the cycle. We highly recommend that you upload professional and personal development updates to your file when applicable."

Not too sure what to make of this - will continue to update and hopefully hear back! If anybody knows of how past movement has worked from this status please let me know!

Maybe somehow they see that you have 10 II, and that you are probably not going to choose them amongst your other choices?
Don't get discouraged! You have 9 more schools to focus on 🙂, you will definitely have multiple acceptances and have your pick!

They can't see where you have interviews at.

I saw a post that talked about this, apparently one of the deans at Loyola personally told him/her that more than half of II have gone out by September.
 
"Your file is currently undergoing a review by our committee. Thank you for applying to Loyola University Chicago-Stritch School of Medicine."

Is the consensus still that if we see this message and not the "on hold" one, they haven't actually looked at our file yet?
