I'm sure all it means is the screener whose pile I'm in got to me quicker than yours did. From what I gather the green just means you're up for human screening

did you indicate that on AMCAS? I'm doing the same thing but I haven't added it yet so I don't get held up at any schools unnecessarily...but it seems like I might anyway?

Not sure how you didn't; AMCAS really didn't give me a choice. Had my old date and current date uploaded when I went to the MCAT page. Which makes sense, since AAMC is all under one site.
I took CASPer last Tuesday 🙂 my assumption would be that my scores are not yet released to the school.

I also applied to NYMC (where it's mandatory) and figured in for a penny, in for a pound! Thank you so much! Fingers crossed for you too.
I think it just means your app is being read / close to being read by an actual human. I've been blessed by the almighty green check for about 2.5 weeks now and haven't heard anything, II or rejection.
7/18 still nothing. Praise be to the green check. Praise be, praise be.

Seems to be from this thread they're going in chronological order, sending out II as they go and rejections in small semi-regular batches. Anybody else complete 7/11?!? I'm starting to sweat over here
Just checked when I was complete and it was only 7/9, so not as mid-July as I thought. Don't freak out yet! 🙂

Quick rejections always sting a little, but I wish more schools did things this way rather than letting you waste away till April wondering what's going on (even though it was clear like 5 months before what's going on). One less school to worry about is always a good thing.

I got my first rejection last week, from Mayo, not Tulane. It certainly sucks. But keep the faith, man. You and me and hopefully all of our fellow SDNers are bound to get in somewhere! We each just need that one, single school. Don't give up. This fight is far from over.

Sorry to hear that, but you have interviews at some great places so that's good . I just hate how unpredictable this process is .
Don't you have like 5 IIs or something? Hopefully that cushions the blow a little LOL. Even with a bunch of IIs, a rejection or seeing other people get invites and not you doesn't feel good. It's still pretty early, so more invites will be coming your way soon.☺
Thanks guys! Not really upset given my other IIs, though I am a bit surprised because I thought I had great answers to Tulane's secondary. So it goes 🙂

So I recently got a new phone, but I forgot to add my school email to it. I do today, and I see a huge load of emails. I scroll down a bit and see that I got a Tulane II yesterday! Feels great! Interview is in mid-November though.
