Complete very early august and haven't caught a rejection. Assuming this isn't going to be a chronological thing
 
Received a post-secondary rejection today. Complete ~10/10, LizzyM 71. Not entirely unexpected since UC Irvine places a lot of emphasis on research and my ECs were more community volunteering oriented, but still a bit disappointing. Owell.

I got II from them with no research experience..hmmm. But I applied to their PRIME-LC so maybe that's why they let that slide
 
REJECTED! I live in Nor California though...and I have no idea why they rejected me. The email was hella vague :/

When were you complete?
Don't feel bad, it looks like a ton of great people with awesome research and stats are getting rejected this year..

Anyone else get an "activate UCInetID" paragraph added to their status page? Just appeared this afternoon, and not sure why... I'm still waiting on that II, and obviously paying too much attention to the portal haha :pigeon:

I have this too. Interviewed in October.
 
Until someone says they didn't get it, it's possible everyone got it in preparation for FAFSA.

I got that too! I have been complete since the end of August and have not heard anything yet. Unfortunately, some people are getting rejection emails post secondary submission so I guess no news is good news for those who are still waiting!
 
I filed my FAFSA two weeks ago. Got a verification needed email from UCI today. Still waiting for that II

Got that portal thing as well. Ugh, I feel like I'm being strung along here

New FAFSA for the upcoming 2017-18 school year.

So it turns out that UCI financial aid sent me three emails today. 1st email says: hey you need to verify your FAFSA. 2nd email goes: jk, ignore the previous email. 3rd email goes: jk about the jk.

And my portal also has an "Activate your UCInetID (Available after November 14)" thing. Complete on 7/15. Been silent until today.

Are they still sending out secondaries by any chance? or should I just give up hope :'( :help::bang:I graduated from UCI and I feel like they won't even consider me cuz of that smh

what's funny is that i have done that and didn't see a single pre-secondary rejection. i was pretty thorough searching, so i'm not sure there's been any, to be honest.

Woops you're right! LOL I am dumb, I misread your first post, sorry for the mix-up....thought you said post-secondary

haha no worries. kind of annoyed to be sitting in pre-secondary limbo but it looks like from last year's thread, i'll be chopped in the next couple of days.

sorry to hear that =/, and here's to hoping that you somehow make it out of pre-secondary limbo! I was in that for a few months for another school, so I can understand the annoyance a little, but I actually ended up receiving one (so don't lose hope completely!)
