Complete mid/late September, have not heard back yet about an II invite. Anyone else in the same boat?
Complete 7/31. Only silence.

Received a secondary just now (verified in August). I'm really interested in the PRIME-LC program and hoping someone can answer these questions:
Are PRIME interview invites subsequent to UCI interview invites?
Will admissions committee read through PRIME specific essay responses?
Since it's so late in the game already, is it still worthwhile to submit PRIME essays?
Thank you!
Thank you @onmywayhappyday !!Hi! I just interviewed for the PRIME program, so I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can.
1) My timeline for receiving the II's for both the regular MD and PRIME was a little different (there were some special considerations) so I really can't answer this one....But I know that admission to the MD program is considered first, then afterwards a separate committee looks at your PRIME app. So you will most likely receive the MD II first. However, the Spanish interview for the PRIME program is held on the same day as the regular MD interview. Also, I'd like to point out that offers of acceptance for the MD program are given out first and are supposed to be unrelated to the PRIME app or PRIME interview.
2) The admissions committee only looks at your regular secondary. The PRIME secondary is looked at by a different committee.
3) Absolutely submit the app if you're interested! I believe another person posted on here that there are interview spots for PRIME in January, so they definitely don't have all the slots filled. It's just two more essays that could get you into a great program, and won't affect the rest of your application, so no reason not to do it if you're interested.
Best of luck, hope that helped!
Congrats!!! 🙂 When did you interview?Just got the acceptance call! Smiling ear to ear 😀

Has anyone sent in an official transcript as an update? Or does anyone know how to go about updating them with Fall semester grades?
You just typed out your grades into the portal? Do you happen to know how they feel about official transcripts?I did it through the portal, I guess as send new email, just typed them in and got a return email the next day saying they would update my file.

Hi everyone! How did you send your thank you notes after your interview? (especially if your interviewer did no give you their card?)
Thanks! Couldn't find the email online either - I might just have to call the office I guess.Do you remember your interviewer's name? If yes, you can always google them with UC Irvine and hopefully find their page with email.
Traditional.Is UCI MMI or traditional?
