Same here, sf was a long shot from the beginning so wasn't too surprised. They sent out a very kind rejection that let me down so gently that I barely even felt it

It looks like UCSF is going through early to mid-July applicants. Haven't seen an II on SDN for those who completed secondaries after mid-July.

What are the substantive differences between applicants who are invited to fill out a secondary, and those who are rejected post secondary? The secondary offers little additional information beyond the primary.

On the Secondary, it says it can take up to 12 weeks to complete a review of the application. It has been longer than that for me and still no rejection/interview invite. I wonder what's up.

IIRC pre secondary they look at your ECs and Essays and then post secondary they look at everything else. My gut/fuzzy memory tells me that they didnt look at your grades/mcat before secondary but the more I think about it the more I think that doesnt make sense.

Darn my grades suck but my ECs are great so I was hoping this meant they are already OK with the grades 🙁
