Just got placed on the alternate list...

Anyone have info on this? Chances of getting accepted off of it? My interviews went so great, I'm really surprised--and pretty disappointed--that I didn't get accepted.

Same thing happened to me, so I'd be interested in the answer to this question. I really thought I nailed my interview, but alas....

Yeah I'm really at a loss here. Two interviews and two waitlists so far. I think I let myself get my hopes up after this interview. Oh well

Same here, waitlisted.... I think the issue with having a great interview here is that EVERYONE has a great interview here --- with such a friendly, relaxed bunch of people it's almost impossible to have a less than great interview.

IS anyone on the high alternate list? Or is everyone on the regular alternate list until they rank it in March?

I was waitlisted too. Had a great interview and was decistated when I was waitlisted. Just need to stay positive and hope for the best. I contacted the Admissions's office and they said they have the ranked list up after May 1st (probly close to May 15th).

OOS Accepted today! Interviewed on 1/11. For those of you wait listed or rejected, don't give up! This was my FOURTH cycle applying after being wait listed at different schools for the past three years. If this is the career you want, don't ever quit on that goal.

Accepted my offer today! IS, LM70 interviewed 3 weeks ago. Looking forward to meeting everyone who's going here and best of luck to those still waiting! Don't lose hope!!

My MCATs are 502, GPA 3.97, lizzieM score 65.80. Have volunteer experience, research, clinical, extracurricular and still nothing.
Thoughts please?

You can definitely get in with a 504, that's like a 27 on the old scale. Im assuming high GPA, URM, non-trad, and/or military?

what do you mean by "have the ranked list up"? like for people on the alternate list to see?

Ranked List is everyone on the Wait list. Based on the past few years, if you're on the WL you get assigned into high, medium, or low priority to get off
