I'm at work and just missed a call from someone in admissions. I will have to wait until the AM to follow up, but could this be an II? Have other people received II's via phone?

Someone earlier on this thread received an II via phone call.

Hello! Question for everyone.
I recently got an interview invite for CORE OOS. For those of you who have invites, I can't seem to pick a date on the calendar thing.

Also, if I have an interview for CORE, do you guys think there is any possibility of me asking to be considered for SELECT too? I hadn't really thought that I wanted to do it, but now it seems very interesting of a path.

There was only one date available for when I applied but it was SELECT. Also, there was additional essays I believe for SELECT compared to Core.

It can't hurt to at least ask though if you're really interested in the program.
 
The Acceptance Acknowledgement form isn't binding right? Like you can continue to apply/interview at other schools?

I received my II via phone call.
 
Finally got an II for core....and accidentally declined the invite on my phone lol.... FML😵

I was wondering the same thing; doesn't seem binding but I am too nervous to ask! Interested in the answer as well!

yes you can hold multiple acceptances until the end of april

I guess what I don't really understand is how do you actually commit to going somewhere? Hopefully this doesn't sound like a really dumb question but once you have decided on your school of choice, how do you let them know?

by signing their agreements and making the deposit, you are officially committed and holding a seat for yourself

Thanks for responding!!! So basically by sending in this paperwork, I would be 'committing' to going, but if I decide to go somewhere else I would just withdraw my application?

All hypothetical, I'm just trying to understand the process as well as possible and I'm too nervous to ask admissions staff...seriously thanks for your help.

My portal hasn't updated as of yet. I just emailed signed copies of the mailed acceptance forms and received an email this morning acknowledging receipt and my place in the class.

I received an II yesterday as well and I was able to select from dates in late November and early December. I'm assuming more dates will open up, so keep checking or call them!
 
Is there a due date for the forms in the acceptance letter packet or can I just let them fester until April 30th?

If I'm remembering my interview day correctly, there is a due date. I believe its like 2 weeks? I might be wrong though

So I just looked it up in the MSAR (If you want to check, its under acceptance information), and it says the applicant has two weeks to respond from when the offer is received. Whether that means the phone call or the packet coming, idk. Maybe you should email.

Don't have MSAR but thanks for checking for me. I just sent my forms in cause I figure they're nonbinding and they only say I am "acknowledging" that they sent me an offer. Still have hope I'll get more acceptances and be able to compare scholarship offers.

Congrats! Mind sharing stats and if IS?
 
Do they send an email or update the portal after you send in your acceptance forms? Getting nervous (especially if that 2 week deadline is true!) cause I emailed them yesterday morning and haven't heard anything.
 
Just got a call from USF. Originally applied to CORE, but they thought I'd be a better fit for SELECT so just got an II for SELECT! Does anyone know how many students enroll in SELECT per year?

I emailed them and requested that they let me know if everything was in order. They responded promptly the next day. Either way I'm sure they received your paper work. Congrats fellow classmate!

Same thing happened to me! Trippy, but hey I'll take it. Their website says 56 students are admitted.

Got the letter! Plan on sending it on later on today/tomorrow 😀 glad to be a part of this class haha

Remember that you don't have to send the paperwork my snail mail. Scan and email works just fine. Just make sure you get a response confirming everything is in order.

Does the site ever change from this? Do some people have a date that their application was viewed?
 
So I saw this just now: Your application is ready! Your application was last viewed on 11/15/2016.

Does anyone know if that's a good sign or not? Anyone notice that shortly before getting an II? (Crossing fingers)

When did you submit your app? Mine hasn't been viewed in forever.
