I thought at my mid-September interview they said we will hear back today? Also, last year people heard back on 10/17 since 10/15 was a Saturday. Does anyone else remember this or will we not hear back until November?
 
Interview waitlist.. I'll take that over a rejection any day. Still holding on to hope because I'd love to attend this school
 
OOS, waitlisted today, complete 8/9. Not expecting anything different though🙂 good luck everyone else!!

Congratulations you two!! Did you receive by email, portal, call? And when did you interview?
 
Accepted today as well!!!!! I still can't believe it! I loved everything about the school and its sense of community during my interview day and I'm so excited to be a part of it.
For those of you refreshing this thread as religiously as I did, I got the phone call this afternoon and an email shortly after. Interviewed mid/late September, LizzyM ~69.
 
Got this today. Kind of sad. . Is there still hope?

"The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson sent out a round of acceptances today. Although you have not been selected at this time, you remain an active candidate in our applicant pool. This is not a rejection letter. You will remain eligible for an acceptance at any time during the season. It is our goal to keep you updated about admissions decisions."

Sounds like a waitlist, so yeah there's hope!

Does anyone know how often they send out rounds of acceptances? Is it more of a weekly thing or monthly? I think I remember them mentioning something about this at the interview, but I don't remember the full details 🙁

I had one of those once a month November through January and then almost weekly in February and March
 
They accept the top of the pool at every committee meeting. All the hold email means is that you weren’t at the top for this group but you might be for the next one.

Waitlisted for interview on the same day as I was interviewed at UA-Phoenix, and the same is true of another person I talked to at the interview. Interesting...
 
For the interview waitlist, did you guys receive an email or is it just an update on the portal? if so, where can I find it?

Darn, everyone that's submitted around me is hearing back now, I submitted on the 18th of August. I guess this just goes to show how everything isn't in exactly chronological order.

I submitted mine on August 17th, we will see what happens tomorrow morning! haha
 
My friend got a signed "Congratulations on your interview" card a month after their interview- it came on 10/15. Did anyone else get this?
 
Anyone know if guests are welcome at the pre-reception?
