My official transcripts won't be there until later this week, will that be a problem since they have a deadline of 01/15/18 for all documentation?
 
Anyone get one of the second early acceptance letters?

Just found this forum, and I was so excited! I got my letter in December, and I would love to know if/when they get a Class of 2022 page going! Happy to answer questions if anybody wants info on UAMS as well. I'm in the MPH program currently, so I'm on campus pretty much every day!
 
Anyone know what day they are gonna send out the letters?
 
Hey guys M1 here just thought I come up here and say something the FB page is created about the time all acceptances go out or at least that was when I was invited and they force you to change you FB name to your government name so clean up your FB before hand or make a new one if you haven’t already no more incognito I felt like I was in the group me for my class first
 
Anyways can’t wait to meet you guys if I haven’t already enjoy your time off seriously because anatomy stinks literally

Do they seem to send IS and OOS letters at the same time? I wondering if being OOS I should expect mine to be sent later.

Inside source is likely incorrect. They are only beginning the very meticulous process of preparing all letters today. Friday is most likely. If they can, they'll send them Thursday. All letters go out the same day.

Nothing yet here in Texas. I'd wager they don't even go in mailbox till tomorrow. Praying to the postal gods for speed.
 
Hey everyone! I'm also new to the thread. Got my letter in December and wanted to know about the student FB group and what the current student meant about cleaning up our Facebook.

Also is there some kind of event like a second look where we get to meet people and check stuff out?

I will say be thankful they don't do phone calls to announce acceptances. Made a few days this cycle absolute hell lol.

Totally get the anxiousness though! Good luck to everyone still waiting!

I think the med student was saying to make sure there aren't any inappropriate pictures or posts on your facebook/make sure it is professional, etc. I have been advised about the same thing from a previous admissions committee member. Good luck to everyone over the next few days. Hope we all get good news!
 
So are they for sure mailing the letters today or is there still the possibility of them having to wait till next week?

If they are done with the letters, may be, who knows they may have mailed them yesterday......anyway, should hear something by early next week latest. This 4+ months wait is almost over!
 
So will we know immediately before even opening the letter? i.e. Big thick envelope= Accepted, Small envelope= Rejected or waiting list?

My rejection letter last year was in a normal envelope, I’m not sure about the acceptance or wait list though!

Thick envelope is either acceptance or waitlist I believe. You get the majority of the same forms for both if I remember right
 
So now at least we know that we are praying for one of those that the mailman has to roll up to get it in the box!

Here is what my December packet looked like... I would imagine this round of acceptances/wait lists would look pretty similar, but I'm not certain. GOOD LUCK to all you guys! Can't wait to meet you and get started on this journey together!!

CONGRATS!!

Just so y’all know, letters were first received on the Friday last year and I got mine on the next Monday in N.C., so I’d expect Monday for OOS applicants! The wait’s almost over, y’all!
 
A good friend of mine, also in central Arkansas, got his wait list packet today too. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!
