LOL wut. Please define "awful." We have the Omni, New Haven Hotel, The Study at Yale, and Marriott Courtyard, all in the downtown area. Look those up and tell me which one of them are "awful." They are the exact opposite – too fancy and expensive to live in for interviews. I already said Hotel Duncan is super duper old and isn't good anymore b/c it's priced the same as the Courtyard, which is ridiculous.
I can also guarantee that whatever you've heard "about New Haven" is either 1) dated, given by someone who's still referring to our urban decay of the late 90s/early 2000s or 2) someone who doesn't know ****, has never lived here, and is only listening to people recycle 1) and also delight in putting down a city they've never been to just to sound like they know something. I'm not being salty about 2) at all. People love talking about **** they don't know so they can put something down. Come for an interview and you will see for yourself. We're not Midtown Manhattan, but this is not a ****ty city anymore.
