They're forgiving. One of the people here submitted late like you did and they let that person resubmit.

Just email them and tell them the situation, they will understand!

I'd say people were on the more formal side of business casual.

They received 2400 applications this year? that is 2.5x last year! Impressive! I guess the school is making a name for itself but Im surprised it grew that fast so quick!

For the showcase days, do most people stay in the hotel block? Or would you say its probably a good idea to look into other hotels/airbnb stays nearby?
 
Also received an invitation to the Nov 4th showcase! Submitted the secondary on Aug 29.

Ah. They can still give you an acceptance despite not being able to attend.

Might be late but I was on the casual side of business casual (female here). Most of the guys were in either full suit or pants with nice shirt and tie. If I were a dude, I'd go with the second option. Since they bothered to say it's business casual, I don't think you need to wear a suit.
 
I just got an acceptance too! I attended the Sept 16 showcase. I'm really surprised they are giving acceptances because they told us not to expect to hear back until December or so.

Did they give any clues as to how many they would accept total? Also, how did you stand during the showcase?? I am attending the showcase in a few weeks!

They said they are accepting 40 students. They also said they weren't assessing us at the showcase but I was involved in the group activity and I did talk with a professor during lunch. So be sociable?

They made it very clear that they cannot have a class larger than 40, and they are careful with the amount of acceptances they give out since they are a new school with no data on how many students will accept their offers. They implied that they won’t give out more than 40ish acceptances until February or so, to be careful. But they also said they have a very dynamic waitlist!

**edit: they don’t have a ranked waitlist, they pull people to carefully form their class how they want it to be formed (e.g. note the exact 1:1 gender ratio)

**edit again: I really don’t think the showcase makes much difference. They definitely are watching you during the activity (I noticed it was filmed), but like besides chatting with the students and professors, not much to do! Just be friendly and engaged!
 
Has anyone been accepted this cycle here who has not gone to the showcase?
