I actually found an updated calendar online for 2020. It shows that orientation is August 10th-14th, with classes officially starting on the 17th. Not sure if it is finalized but just what I came across!

And only a 2% decrease for in-state at what is already the highest in-state tuition in the country. Just another example of the state of illinois screening over their own students.

Applied UMed. From my understanding they make decisions for an interview invite around March. The interview for UMed is during second look. Not sure if that's the case for the other programs.

I think it’s the real one! It has the same admins as the class of 2023 and the join questions state that your approval might be delayed if your fb name doesn’t match the one on your application. I went ahead and joined

Hi Thanks for the prompt response and feedback! I will definitely send that letter. I was fortunate to meet some of the admissions staff back in October at the AAMC Minority Medical Student conference and emailed them shortly afterward that it was great to meet them.

However, I have not followed up since. Should I do it directly through the contact or email admissions directly?

Also - I remember seeing on here once a thread with general templates for different Letters. Anyone have the link? I'd greatly appreciate it!

No I haven’t been accepted into it yet. I sent a join request over the weekend, so idk if that has anything to do with it. But you can actually find it with a fb search.
