hi! i'm attempting to schedule an interview and i do not know which classes to put for the "comm" requirement, as all of my community service work took place not in class. Is it ok if i leave this blank? Similar to my clinical work, I only had one course that fulfills this, all other clinical work was done as a medial scribe.

I am pretty sure you can schedule your interview and come back and fill this part out after. I think it would okay to leave community service blank!

For those waiting still, last year the last 2 decision days were 3/23 and 4/20, but they also had finished most of December by this time(vs barely touching it this year).

They also did have their decision date pushed to Monday 2/24 and then had some people notified on 2/25, so hopefully that’s the case this year 🙂

Is Drexel one of the schools known for holding R’s until the end of the cycle? I remember seeing someone way back get a post-II R but the lack of R’s the past few decision releases is a bit concerning.

Is there ever a time where emailing the school about their decision is a good idea? Waiting 3 months for a response is unfortunately making me upset and frustrated. Just tell me if I got rejected so I can stop worrying about it all 😭

I think I remember them saying that we could email them if it’s been more than 8 or so weeks without hearing anything and they might be able to tell us whether we’ve been discussed at committee? Or when we could expect to hear back??

I’ve considered this as well. I wonder what kind of response they’d have. Could you report back if you do decide to go through with it?

After that monthly emotional roller coaster...is anyone able to shed light on what it potentially means to not hear back at this point? Is it WL? R? I interviewed 11/23 and knowing my luck they aren't saving my A for a super special decision day.

it's possible that your interviewers/summarizing person submitted their parts late, so your application hasn't yet been discussed by the committee and you'll hear back at the next decision day (which nobody knows currently).

Alternatively, according to the thread people have received deferrals on the Monday after the Friday decision day. It's possible you were deferred (which based on last year's thread looks like a WL).

Post II R's seem to come out pretty sporadically in the past few years thread (in part because people dont want to report it), but it seems these come out a bit at the end of the cycle.

TLDR: Who knows x.x

For what it's worth any kind of answer is better than the piercing silence...thank you

Yep! Before it just said "loans", but now there's a "scholarships and grants" section above it.

Congrats! Did you accept your loans already? Do you need to accept loans in order to receive scholarships?

I don’t think there is a button to officially accept loans yet. Also not sure if I will be attending here; still waiting on financial aid from other schools.

you can accept the loans if you go through the drexel one portal. i also asked the financial planner if accepting the loans would bind you to attending and they said no! i think if you dont accept by a certain date they can take the loan away?

Oh interesting, I thought Drexel One was only for existing students. I will have to check that out, thanks for informing me!

Did anyone see this when paying the admissions deposit?

I did too, and then when I checked the checklist for making a decision, the deposit was not marked with a green checkmark.
