so I ranked the LI campus first and said I was okay with the Arkansas campus when they emailed us. They gave me an II to the Arkansas campus. I am grateful for the II but wanted to see if I could potentially get switched since my family is moving to NY. Do you guys think if I email them I can potentially switch campuses ? or should I just keep my II at JB? if not thats ok since I did agree to considering JB.

Update to anyone else in the same boat/future. I emailed admissions and they said if you get an II at the Arkansas campus but you want to interview at the NY-LI campus you would have to 1. decline the ARK interview and 2. wait to see if the NY-LI campus selects you for an II.

seems kind of risky to decline one interview and wait to see if the other campus selects you imo.

Hiya! The interview felt super short to me. The interviewer had a set list of questions for me and kept the conversation formal. They even gave me time to think if I needed it. Overall it was a good experience. Just prep for the standard Q’s and you’ll do great!

I think it depends on your interviewer. Mine read through a list of standard interview questions but didn't respond to any of my answers. Afterwards they allowed me to ask a few questions about the school and that was it. It lasted about 15 minutes.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember someone saying that acceptances usually go out the second Friday of every month meaning that more acceptances would be coming out this coming Friday the 11th? If anyone has any information pls share! The wait is killing me.

For anyone interviewing, I can share my experience
- Questions were straightforward
- Interviewer stated this is just one part of the holistic review
- There were no follow-up questions or discussions to any of my answers (I did not view this as a bad thing based on others comments here)
- Do not expect a conversational interview (mine went like - question, answer, directly into next question)
- Types of questions - why medicine, why NYIT, how do you envision your future practice/meeting your goals(don't remember exactly, but something along those lines), there were a couple tell me about a time (I forget if it was persistence, leadership, teamwork) or tell me how your experiences have prepared you/shaped your goals, which experience meant the most to you ect.
- Total time 15-20 mins

Yes just the 25 min slot. There’s an optional info session that they send you an email about before the interview date

Not sure exactly how NYIT is doing it but some schools require you to resubmit your transcript once you’re accepted and at the end of the semester if you’re still a student when you get accepted. I doubt that they can rescind your acceptance if you drop a class (as long as it’s not a prereq) but I wouldn’t let my gpa tank just to play it safe

I have not seen anyone reporting WL or R's yet. Others have mentioned that WL and Rs come in January. But also check your spam folder in case it's lost there.

I’m stuck between KCU (KC campus) and NYIT (NY campus) and was wondering if anyone has any advice or input about the programs? Why they chose a specific one? My biggest concern with KCU is that I’ve heard from a decent number of people it isn’t a good area, and for NYIT I’m worried about the much higher cost of attendance and living expenses. Thank you in advance to anyone with input!

I'll be happy to answer any questions about the program, student life, etc. In terms of a group chat, my year has a discord server shared by both the LI and AR campuses. Not a current applicant for this cycle but does anyone know if NYIT accepts letters uploaded to Interfolio/has anyone used Interfolio for this cycle? Just curious because it states online, "Note: We no longer accept letters of recommendation submitted through Virtual Evals and Interfolio.". Good luck to everyone applying and congrats to the II/A !!!
