Did anyone get an A overnight? That is when my interview came in

None of my portals have any updates - from earlier in this thread it looks like if you were admitted it changed to "Your Profile --
> Accepted" on the portal we set up after being invited for an interview

I know someone else said two but I actually had three interviews. One open file, one closed file and one with a Philly community member. All three were conversational and not stressful. They asked me about ec’s, passions, community involvement etc. I interviewed 11/9
Was the interview with a Philly community member one on one or a small group with 2-3 students?

For anyone interviewing, there is a small group component of the interview with a community representative. All interviewees were asked the same questions one after another, but the order was fixed such that the same person had to go first each time. Naturally, the group format breeds an awkward, competitive atmosphere as the interviewees try to best answer the same questions while not copying others' answers.

I think it depends on the interviewer. My interviewer did not ask us all the same questions, which I hated. I felt like I got harder questions (which of course I'm biased to think that). But yea it was awkward as hell and put a bad taste in my mouth for temple. Still a great school though

For my community interview, the person randomized the order of who goes first each time so the order went something like (1) A-B-C 2)A-C-B 3)B-C-A 4)C-A-B, etc. She also switch the questions so every question we got each "round" was different for everyone. She repeated a few of them, but not all. So A and C got asked the same question at different points but B never did.

This led to the hilarious first round of questions where it went like
"Person A, easy question." "Person B, another easy question." "Person C, super long, complex question"

I do agree it was kind of awkward as you get to hear the others' answers which may be personal (or maybe they stumble, which is awkward for us spectating).

To those that are getting ready to interview I really suggest you listen to the Accepted podcast with the LKSOM dean. It’s pretty recent and they even talk about their goal with the community interview. They want students that can relate to the community and are going to be able to address community needs. Just be a decent human being.

Our interviewer let us go in whatever order we wanted. Which led to long silences when no one wanted to go first. It was awkward to feel like we were eavesdropping on incredibly private things that people said but my fellow interviewees were chill and not super competitive.

Yeah, I went first every single time because my interviewer had established the order that way. I felt that the other applicants had more time to formulate a strong answer to the same questions as I spoke. It also felt like I was getting one-upped a whole lot, but the other applicants had some really cool stories regardless. Ended up with a WL but I remain hopeful!

Looked at the website, it says we will be notified of our acceptance in December, February, or April. Was this the case before? I interviewed in early December and they said it would be mid-late January when we heard back.

They 100% had a PowerPoint slide that said January during my December interview. Maybe they are just backtracking now but I don’t think multiple different people misremembered. That is very annoying.

I think the website is inaccurate or from last year cus the first announcements were in November which is what the PowerPoint said for first wave people.

Tomorrow is the last day of January. So I am expecting some form of communication tomorrow. Possibly at midnight tonight.

I’m still complete for review interviewed late November in the portal. Has anyone else not heard back yet

nothing yet, interviewed 12//7. where in the portal are As showing up?
They're in the TUPortal, not the supplemental portal. I honestly don't know where the "Status" screen is that others have posted (I'm still looking for that lol). It will show up in the Next Steps box. Instead of saying you've completed all tasks, it says to enter your Social Security Number in with 4 tasks - one lets you view your decision offer letter, and another just says congrats. Also I interviewed 11/23!

Are A's still going out today, or have they probably all been sent out by now? Interviewed 12/7 and haven't heard anything.
It is odd. Usually they release ALL decisions at once, and this thread floods with people reporting As and then a few hours later people reporting deferrals. For some reason we have only had few As reported in what I assumed would be a decently sized A wave.

Usually no portal update = WL/R. But I would say give it a bit more time to see what happens. Emails also start coming late morning so that will be another indicator hopefully today.
