Gonna echo those who have said Drexel interview was disheartening.
Interview felt one sided and as if interviewers and students didn't like their own school.

My experience interviewing was also ~disheartening~. However, I loved the school and the student interviewer. I am pretty sure all the people that keep mentioning a bad interview experience all had the same interviewer… just try and not let it phase you, roll with the punches, and don’t let the interviewer be what you think represents the school. Drexel seems great.

Complete end of July, OOS

Unless they haven't heard any negative feedback about this interviewer (which seems unlikely), this doesn't give me a great impression of how the institution is representing itself to future students. If you haven't interviewed yet, it sounds like people are having positive experiences too, so don't worry too much 🙂

I got decently good vibes from the interview day. Much of it revolved around the welcoming and collaborative student body. After hearing about how the cohort is split up from students and staff, my concerns I originally had about the large class size were alleviated. Honestly my biggest gripe about the interview day was the inefficient format. There were many awkward gaps, especially if you get an afternoon interview. In addition, west coast folks had to be up at the crack of dawn.

I thought the interview day overall went pretty well. There is a lot of downtime before/after your interview, but overall it went by pretty efficiently. I must've lucked out with my faculty interviewer since he seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say and gave me great information on research opportunities. Student interview went well, but it was a little awkward like some say.
