I have possibly a dumb question, but for everyone who has been accepted: what exactly does the acceptance in good faith protocol mean? I have been accepted already to one school, and I am not sure which one I am leaning towards (pending financial aid)- is the acceptance in good faith binding/can I decide to withdraw my application once I know for sure which school I will attend?

I'm not sure what this "in good faith" means. Can you elaborate?

For AMCAS MD schools, unless it's otherwise stated that its binding, you do not need to narrow your choices down until mid-April

Essentially, under the admissions decisions tab it explains that "enrolling in good faith" means agreeing to have full intentions and expectations to matriculate in the fall. But then under the same conditions it says that confirmed students adhere to the AAMC Application and Acceptance Protocols for Students, which is why I am unsure

Is that referring to when you commit to enroll? Accepting your seat at DUCOM (afaik) does not mean you are bound until you hit CTE in the AAMC CYMS, which doesn't happen until much later.

Has anyone who interviewed on 10/20 heard back? And do we know if they only release As on Fridays

Interviewed 11/16 and it went well! Drexel is most definitely my top choice. Should I wait to see if I get deferred to write a letter of intent or should I submit one now?

I interviewed 10/18 and still haven't heard back, they said 8-10 weeks since they are presumably a bit busier around the holidays

for those that have interviewed, when did your portal update with who ur faculty & student interviewers are/the time you’ll be interviewing? I’m interviewing tmr and my portal still doesn’t have this information

Mine popped up the night before, but my interviewers changed at the last minute in the morning when I tried to double check the names.
Definitely check a few times before the interview.

Doing some reading about the program in prep for an II, does anyone know how it is decided which campus students start at? I have not found anything about that yet but maybe I missed it.

i think after you get accepted you can submit your preferences to them, but they can’t guarantee anyone’s choices

Has anyone actually gotten a post II R? Or do they defer everyone?
