Does anyone know if people usually get in off of DD if it’s now been 3 consecutive months or at this point is it pretty unlikely?
not sure what the actual likelihood is, but based on the last year's thread there is still a good chance. hold hope
wonder if this A wave is it for this month or if there will be anymore sent out tomorrow by 5pm.

+1. Seemed like there were some acceptances in February for individuals who interviewed in October/November from last year's thread.
Not sure. I wonder if anyone from the 10/12 Interview has been accepted.
I was that week in October.. nothing yet. Based on people’s posts they are avoiding our week like the plague 🤡
have been wondering this as well. have not seen anyone from that date and week in general have an A so far on this thread. of course, those that got A's could not be SDN as well

Interviewed in October and received 1 DD email. Nothing for November or December.

When in September did you interview? I interviewed mid-Septemeber, got DD in October, then silence until my A this week.

Hi friends! This is my first post (please let me know if I am doing things wrong- are there posts vs replies?)- I am a non-traditional, not super tech-saavy student, and I made a SDN account to post this!
I feel lucky and privileged to have gotten an A this fall for the University of Illinois College of Medicine to start in Fall of 2024. After receiving my acceptance, I had been invited to fill out a form asking my campus preference, and I had said explicitly that I would only be able to attend (and really wanted to attend!) if assigned to the Chicago campus because I live with and care for my 94 year old grandmother in Chicagoland. And then was surprised when I received a notice in *November* that I had already been assigned to the Rockford campus, with no opportunity to be considered for the scholarly concentration only offered on the Chicago campus which I gushed about during my interview.
I replied to the admissions office asking for options: "could I join a waitlist for an assignment to the Chicago campus, as not all the students assigned there will end up matriculating?" "if I defer my acceptance until next year, may I be considered for the Chicago campus in the next cycle?" "can you offer any insight into the decision-making process for offering campus assignments?" "can you tell me about the process to transfer campuses after starting at Rockford?" They have not been very receptive to my inquiries, sadly. They just keep saying that all campus assignments are final and an excellent education can be received on any of their campuses.
Does anyone have any advice, especially anyone with familiarity with UIC COM? I do not want to abandon my grandmother and honestly feel confused about the campus assignment process, and why the school would be so adamant about not considering pleas by students (for legitimate and concrete reasons) to be assigned to a specific campus. I would welcome kind advice (which is not "suck it up, you have to make sacrifices for medicine, etc").

How far out were the available interview dates?
They haven’t given any pre-II rejections, correct? They will just mass reject at the end of the cycle?
