Nothing in informed delivery today besides bills again :/ this should be the last day for this month right so therefore a rejection? (Interviewed early September)

Not necessarily. Last year, some people got their mail late and got their portal update before the mail reached them (portal update happened a week after the mail gets sent out).

Rejections and waitlist were sent out towards April/May. There were some people who got accepted 3-6 months after their interview (although very low frequency was reported on last year's thread).

It's not over until you hear back from them.

I received II about 3 weeks ago, sent additional docs on 9/27. Does anyone have an idea of when Im gonna get my interview date? I feel like this is taking forever

wondering the same thing
Yeah I was curious because it looks like only those who interviewed 8/30 got A’s so does that mean they didn’t get to the 9/6 interviews yet and we have to wait til November or did people from 9/6 get A’s but just don’t use SDN and didn’t announce it 🤔

May I ask what ur stats are? And did it shown up on informed delivery?

LM 67. Not wowing anyone stat-wise, but I’m assuming my experiences and qualitative aspects of my application made up for it.

Nothing showed up on my informed delivery. The packet was dated 10/16 and arrived 10/19. A day later, I got an email and my portal was updated. Best of luck to everyone! Hope you get that letter soon.

Congratulations and thanks so much for this information!! Did you apply to the UMP or RMEP program?

i might be stupid but when we mail our decision back does that pre-addressed envelope need stamps LOL
or is responding in the portal sufficient?

So I interviewed in August, but for some time afterwards my application was incomplete bc I was missing a LOR (long story). By the time I submitted the LOR and my application was considered complete, it was a few weeks after my interview, but within that 30 day range they gave obvi. I still haven't heard anything back. Thought my interview went pretty well. Would this likely delay when I hear back from them? Wanting to have some hope to hear back in Nov lol

For those with a decision or II, how long after the complete application email did you guys hear back??

Idk about the first question, but when I called, they said that the physical paper decision is required and that the portal isn't sufficient.

Does anyone know the time difference between when IU said (in an email) they are transfering interview notes to the admissions committee and the date they got accepted? That I heard is a more realistic way of determining when you will hear back.

I applied ED and got the application will be present to the ADCOM email on 9/11 and got the A on 9/29, but I don’t know if it’ll be the same timeline for RD

Thank you. I hope someone from regular decision also gives us insight cause we all stuck in this limbo

Seems like there were only 1/4th of the amount of october acceptances reported this year compared to last year. Unsure if this means anything. Just staying patient
True, but I think it’s just this year’s applicants for IU specifically aren’t reporting as much on SDN 😞

does anyone know if all of the UMP acceptances are sent out at once later in the cycle? or can people be accepted on a rolling basis?

Do all interviewed applicants get an email when their application gets transferred?

I received my RD A around a month and a half after the email about sending my app over to the committee.

From multiple friend's previous experiences applying to IU, you can go months without hearing anything from the school. For example, I know two people who interviewed in early September, radio silence until April when they were put on the WL, and then were admitted mid-June. I also know a few people who got As a couple of months after their interview. Basically, I *think* you are considered every month for an A post-interview, and then if you don't receive one by April, you will either be put on WL or R. So from my understanding, I don't think there is a real timeline for II --> interview --> A/R/WL. This is just from my perspective, but I hope that helps🙂!!

Also this is based on previous cycles ^^. Things can obviously change!!!

Thank you so much! This is very detailed and gives me a solid insight.
