this might sound like a crazy question, but has anyone heard (typically) how much mercer gives out to people for financial aid/need basis? based off of previous years.

Just withdrew my WL spot after a conditional acceptance elsewhere. While Mercer would be a bit chraper and is closer to “home,” at some point you have to close other doors to keep waiting for something that might no pan out and I felt like I needed to take back a bit of control over my path.

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted, best of luck to those still waiting and elsewhere on this journey.

so i received a call today saying that i’m high on their waitlist and while they don’t think i’ll get a spot this year they highly encourage for me to reapply for next year.. did anyone else get this call? does it mean anything?
i’m wondering if i should just go ahead with my DO acceptance?
lowkey i’m sad because now they confirmed i was really close to getting in but didn’t :/ hoping maybe they just called everyone who didn’t get off the waitlist

I second this. You WILL BE A DOCTOR if you go DO. Don’t risk giving up that dream just because you MIGHT get accepted next year
