I did. Very early September - the first week.

I didn’t get a II on September 20. That didn’t happen to me last time, so I contacted the admin director.

He said that my app is under review still, but I’m just nervous because he did say that not everybody who gets a secondary gets a II.
Well hmmm. I’m sorry! Maybe the next wave! It’s not an R so it’s not over yet! Did you get an invite last year?

I got it the last cycle I submitted, which was 2020-2021. It was Noorda’s first year.

I submitted my secondary in October and got a II in November. During that cycle, I turned my primary in during September, so much later than now.

Has Noorda dispensed pre-II R’s yet? I know they have had pre-secondary holds and pre-secondary R’s as of late.

I’m beyond thankful that I got a secondary. I just hope to turn this into a II and A.

Is the portal that we submitted our secondary in the one that will update once a decision is rendered?

Current student at Noorda. Feel free to message any questions, im happy to help.

Hey! Thanks so much! How much time a week do you spend on OMM?
We have OMM lab once a week for an hour and a half and we get the lecture videos posted a week and a half before to review on your own. There’s also optional open lab twice a week to practice with professors and TAs

Got the A today! Is there an accepted students thread?
congrats! I’m interviewing in 2 weeks and am hoping for the same! Did anything on interview day catch you off guard or was it pretty much what you expected?

Not really! I had read and heard a lot of great things about the school so the only thing that you could say maybe 'caught me off guard' was how true all those positive reviews were. I haven't had any bad interviews this cycle, but Noorda's was hands-down the most relaxed, comfortable, and enjoyable, both in-interview and throughout the day. It's clear how much they care about their students and student success while also still being very innovative in their curriculum and their other offerings.

+1 I felt the same!

I totally agree. I just interviewed at another DO school in the West and the interview experiences were night and day. Noorda clearly cares about their students and are trying to become a continually better school. The other school I interviewed at acted like they were better than us and acted like we were lucky to even be talking to them. Instead, the Noorda faculty acted like they were the lucky ones to interact with their students and future students. That is an environment where we can be successful in my opinion.

I agree with your agreement.

Has anyone completed the virtual interview and have any tips?? Do you interview with other applicants or is it 1 on 1 in the breakout rooms

I haven't quite yet but mine is the 11th, but from what I read it is 1 on 1 in the breakout rooms and then the Q&As afterward are with everyone.

Noorda dropping an Events email be like:

episode 8 wheel GIF

Would any accepted people be down to join a group chat? I know there isn't any official thing outside of the Facebook group, but I'd be down to start one.

My class started a Group Me as people started getting acceptances. We still use it at a class today. It's a good place for us to rant about school without Noorda staff/faculty listening to our conversations hahah. We also share resources, ask questions, and talk about non-school related stuff. I think the 2026 cohort has a discord as well.

Thank you!

I went ahead and created a discord. Anyone interested can PM me for the link!

Is there any data about the pass rates for Level 1 1/Step 1 or has it not been released yet?

I believe they‘re supposed to be releasing that officially soon. I did see a post not too long ago from someone claiming to be a student at Noorda saying that they heard their level 1 pass rate was around 98%. We‘ll just have to wait and see what the school releases officially though to know for sure.

Can anyone that did the virtual interview comment about it? Did it impress you, was it 1 on 1 in the breakout rooms, any curve ball questions?

Anyone from 9/29 interview hear anything?

I haven‘t. I‘m pretty sure it was mentioned that the admissions committee was meeting to review our apps in just under a week and a half after our interview day, so to me that meant they probably are meeting some time between today and Thursday to discuss us. I‘ve been nervously refreshing my email all day, and will be continuing to do so for the entire week haha

Does anyone know what the post interview acceptance rate is? Also, does the school look for anything specific in applicants? They seem to lack diversity.

As far as I can tell, they look for confident, kind, and authentic people, at least that‘s what was stated on interview day. Sorry that isn’t too specific, but they haven’t given me the impression that they‘re super stat heavy or service heavy or research heavy, they have only stated over and over again that they value and are looking for authenticity and people of good character. Obviously if you have a 495 MCAT and a 2.2 GPA they probably won’t consider you, but yeah qualities of character seem to be the emphasis.

Sorry I can’t be super helpful with your questions, but how do you feel the school lacks diversity?

I think such folks won’t even get a secondary since Noorda does screen them.

Accepted 10-10. Secondary submitted on 8-28, interview invite on 9-20, interviewed 9-29.

Stats: Out of State. 3.16 cGPS. 3.34 sGPA. 502 MCAT. 300+ credit hours and last 128 hours straight 4.0 including a 36 credit hour semester.
You took 36 credits in one semester?????? You’re a beast

For those that did the virtual interview, is it a 1-1 in the breakout room?

Mine is also on that day. Good luck to everyone interviewing on that day!
