How do I answer the secondary for CHSU "why osteopathic medicine?" The character max is 1000 and it's tight. Do tell a personal story or no story?

if a personal story is why u are choosing osteopathic medicine, then yes. I think it helps if u can show that u have exposure to the field and can speak to that.

I ended up declining. Too quick of a turnaround for me personally, plus I wanted to keep my options open this cycle. Still considered for next year though.

I said yes, from the way I read the email we can consider and interview with no affect on our admission for next year. I'm gonna call tomorrow to make sure we'd be fine if I get accepted and change our mind.

Yeah I got you, also they sent an email out at ten for sign ups for the zoom interview on Wednesday morning.

They said that it doesn't affect the current application cycle, even if they offer acceptance and you deny. They also said you would have to re-interview and this interview wouldn't affect the next application cycle.

I didn't get this opportunity of getting interviewed for starting this fall, is it because I am still an incoming senor in college?

I'm highly concerned that I did something wrong. I went to click "download PDF" before I submitted my CHSU secondary and towards the end, I saw all of the letters of rec on my application that I waived my right to see. I saw every word on each letter and what each recommender said about me. What should I do? Freaking out!

Probably an accident on their part. You will not be penalized for their error.
