deferred from both case and cclcm - planning on submitting a LOI/update but wondering should I make it specific to one program? it seems like both programs will be able to see updates so probably shouldn't make the update letter too specific to one program right... anybody else in the same boat?

I'm not in your exact position, but I think you could include separate details about your interest in both programs. I'm sure they see many applicants who apply/interview at both CCLCM/UP and that seems entirely reasonable. I vaguely remember the dean on the All-Access pod saying it would be okay to write about both programs in the Additional Info section of the secondary, so I would think this applies here. Alternatively, you could write two separate letters

I’m assuming next week or 2 is when they’re releasing the entire class bc someone said the last committee meeting was 1/30. And they also said they’re deciding the whole class by February

How many people do you guys reckon have already been admitted? I figure most schools are around half capacity at this point.

I don’t know how many people have been admitted already but they explained at my interview day that because of the tuition scholarship, they only actually send acceptances to 32 people (the same size as the entering class). They put anyone else they want on the waitlist and then as people decline, they accept people from the waitlist. So getting a waitlist is very common decision and does not mean you are out of contention at all.

Ahhhh. OOS-A today! Interview was 11/19! I missed the initial call (at 1:53 pm EST) amd was sent an email requesting a call back.
Congratulations!! Was there any indication if this is the end of the class?

No, no indication that this was the end. But the Dean said she likes to personally call before any updates are sent to the portal. So there will be a phone call.

Thank you and congratulations once again!

Congrats to everyone who got in! Given the class size is only 32, I’m assuming all 32 calls probably have been made (SDN is such a small sample size!)… For anyone who got the call did they mention when portals would update?

Also does anyone know if their PI was contacted or not? It’s unclear but looks like a lot of PIs were contacted for WL or A applicants in past years

Based on last year according to cycle track, if today was the last day of A’s, tmrw will be the WL/R emails
Wish I didn't see this lmaoooo.

My PI was contacted a while ago, it was a week or two after my interview.

The Dean said she’d let someone know tomorrow to update the portal/send the email. She just wanted to be able to talk to everyone accepted before sending an email.

My impression was that everyone’s PI would be contacted after their interview. I know my PI was contacted (via email) the week after my interview to schedule a call.

Well I did not get a call today so hoping for a WL email tomorrow. They tend to have WL movement because they only accept 32 students at first.

Do we know typically how many WL offers are made?
They did not tell me how many specifically are made but they implied that they put a decent number of people on the waitlist because they only accept so few people.

Congratulations to everyone who got As!! Has anyone who interviewed in January heard back yet?

No, no mention generally but my portal was updated sometime after the call with the Dean.

I’m from the area so I’ve been getting 216 telemarketer calls, so this has been agony lol, congratulations to everyone who’s gotten in, good luck going into your M1 year!

If there’s no WL/R today I think that tells us there are more calls to go out. WL/R come out immediately day after the last calls
Haha I really wanna hope so. Did anyone from December interviews hear back with an A?

Last year they had all the As come out then WLs and Rs the next day... given that there weren't WLs/Rs last week and I haven't seen Jan interviewees report decisions, I think there may be another wave? But maybe I'm just being overly optimistic
Yeah I interviewed in January and haven’t heard anything back yet. I suspect there are more acceptances to go out because if not we would have heard something by now since the last As were 3 business days ago.
