Ig by 2/19 then. WL/R were sent out later in the month anyways (2/14, 16, 17, 23). Unfortunate
Never thought I’d find myself praying for a waitlist

Overly pessimistic with speculative assumptions here. I was admitted around christmas time, which is uncommon. They are doing things differently each year. I doubt they are done with As and lots of people get off the waitlist.

About 30 minutes ago too. No indication of whether the class is full yet but they said they'll send an official offer Monday so I'll let you guys know if it says anything!

Delusional me checking for missed calls 🥲 but congrats!!
Fr! And my phone was off on Saturday so I can’t even see if I had a missed call 😅

We still have a chance though! Some people get in off the WL. Good luck!

This is actually very unprofessional lol to promise with a date and not respond by it at all. I bet admissions watch these threads too and see students freak out💀
I'm sure they're doing their best and whether it comes out today, tomorrow, next week, or next month won't change our lives dramatically. The stress is definitely at an all-time high, but we've made it this far 🙂

Also, they never publicly claimed they would send decisions by Feb 19, just a reply to someone's email. There was no direct quote from the admissions team, so there's a good chance that was just an estimate they gave to an anxious applicant and not anything set in stone. But yes, I'm sure the anxiety is killing us all

I’m surprised nobody has done a review of what time the emails were sent in past years 🤣

I don’t have a direct quote but this was told to me directly on interview day by program staff. It’s not just one person that called and heard this.

I have no idea on the status of more acceptances but in the accepted students groupme hosted by CCLCM there's almost 30 people now
Are there like current students in it too which would make the number less? And almost 30 as in 29 or 26 bc every spot matters lmaooo in such a small class

I’m curious if the NIH funding cuts are impacting this decisions timeline. I mean, Pitt just froze admissions for PhD students

So could

Wow I never thought of that! Is our tuition and all of that funded by NIH for CCLCM or how does it work?

nah I'm pretty sure CCLCM has a 100 million dollar gift for this program so this program wouldn't be privy to NIH cuts; that being said if every other division at CCF is having to cut back I could see how that could have potential impacts on the program as a whole in the future

Totally makes sense if the research funding is being thrown off by the NIH, but I just wish they would communicate that with us about it instead waiting anxiously each day hoping for news...

Have you tried getting in contact with them?
