I wonder how many As have been handed out 😬 based on last years thread it looks like they admit approximately 400 students (making for a 50% ish yield rate, class of 236). And AFAIK 75 people are moved off the WL historically (out of 150 WL offers). So about 450-550 of those who interviewed will get post-II R, assuming that the application isn’t withdrawn after the interview (and also assuming about 1000 got interviewed).

Being able to whittle down applicants to that amount is crazy difficult

is this considered a good waitlist compared to other schools?

Any admitted students getting an error when trying to create their Net Partner login? I added Mass to FAFSA a while ago but not sure if we're supposed to do anything else to gain access? Thank you!!!

Does anyone (maybe current students?) know if the White House defunding/cancelling DEI initiatives will impact the PURCH program since UMASS is a public school?

Do people think not attending the small group Q&A could hurt our chances? I have a conflict with this one, plus I have been to like 7 UMass Q&A's by now... running out of questions ask😅

I didn't go to anything other than my interview and was accepted. So no, going to them doesn't make any sort of difference

I interviewed in September and still haven't heard didly squat? Anybody else have a wicked early interview and still not anything. I'm happy I'm not WL but this is just annoying at this point.
Interviewed 9/24 and sent an LOI at the beginning of January and still haven't heard back with a decision. I wish I had read last year's forum earlier because it seems like there is no real benefit in securing an early interview and I seemed to have gotten my hopes up lol

interview today and did really poorly on one of the stations. big sad
I legit forgot the question when it was time to answer for one of them and I still got accepted. And on another station I had the dean and she grilled the crap out of me. I thought I was done for. Don't count yourself out yet.

Welcome to the club my friend, lost enough hope to expect the R or waitlist, but not enough to stop checking your inbox every Friday afternoon. If you reapply next year, you can have the same thing happen to you AND you get an email from Maura Healy to go **** yourself on April 30th. Pretty sweet gig, welcome to the commonwealth.

This same thing happened to me too! I feel like I did horrible on the station with the dean. Yet to hear back after my interview though.

Ngl, when I had my interview here, I thought it was my hardest one out of the 8 IIs that I had! Had done MMI before for other interviews but the questions here were quite difficult and the interviewers in general did not have the best vibes lol

Still waiting for my decision but not expecting much

I had my only interview here in January and prepped a lot...however, I felt none of my prep helped since they asked such hard questions. LOL, I felt like I bombed the interview, and also, the interviewer's vibes were off, I'm still waiting!

This is such a mood & welcome to the club. Almost all of us are still waiting 🫠

Can anyone offer any interview tips? I've never done (or even practiced) an MMI interview before and mine is tomorrow I'm so nervous... >_<
Also, is there an intro/welcome part in the beginning or does it just jump straight into the actual interview MMI part?

There is an intro before everyone gets split into their breakout rooms. I believe it was about a 20-25 min intro

IS WL PURCH. II 12/18 and 1/16. Had a feeling it was going to be a WL, Does anyone have any idea on the odds of getting off WL for PURCH specifically? or if its possible to get off the WL for Reg MD but stay on for PURCH?

They'll get back to out of staters in 6-8 week if not shorter but I've been waiting 5 months and still nothing lol. Congrats to everyone, just getting so emotionally tired
