For anyone who has interviewed already, how was your experience? I have an interview in 2 weeks and am psyching myself out. It will be my first medical school interview! šŸ˜°

For those who interviewed virtually, did you receive any email the week leading up with zoom links and more details about the day?

No, they say at the beginning that although they have that as the time, they wanted to get us out by 1ish. IIRC that's when our interview ended. sorry I can't remember the exact time šŸ™
 
Does anyone know what email the secondary is coming from? I want to be sure I haven't missed anything.

When did you submit your secondary and what are your stats?? I'm really wanting an interview here.
 
Does anyone's portal still say not received for their transcript? I called and they let me know that it's just because they havent reviewed my application yet, but just a little worried!

its traditional style! I would recommend knowing your application really well and looking at the interview feedback on SDN for common questions!
 
Itā€™s almost been a month since a logged II on cycletrack, I wonder if more soon!
 
I was in the last interview day of the first interview group on 8/29. They said that decisions for this first group (including anyone who interviewed prior to 8/29) would come out in 2-3 weeks (4 weeks at the latest). So we should all hear back either this week or in the next couple weeks hopefully!

i also rem them saying that the committee will meet on sep 6 (fri) and then the dean will look over the decisions. i rem him saying something about Wednesday acceptances go out! so hopefully this Wednesday!!! he said max 3 weeks so that means next week might be the latest we can hear from them!

Yeah I couldn't remember if he said Wednesday they meet with the dean or Wednesday the acceptance start going out. Either way, it should be soon!
 
any tips from those who interviewed already? everyone seems to say its been very chill and nice but i interview thursday and cant help but be nervous! any tips or anything would great to hearšŸ™‚

there's rlly good food at the end. look forward to it. the people are also super nice and help with the anxiety. interview is very chill, know ur app inside and out !

My interview was an open file interview with 2 faculty members simultaneously, but I remember some applicants only had 1 interviewer that day so it really depends how many faculty members they have available for the day. It was really easygoing. No trick questions, just remember to read your application the night before. Some of the questions seemed straight of out the interview questions here on SDN too.
