Are you a current student at SJB? How tough is it to find research opportunities, especially in specialties like orthopedic surgery? Does the hospital next to the school offer any research for students?

Yes, I’m a current student. As for research opportunities, all or most of the professors in the school are actively doing research and take students, so it’s pretty easy in that regard. As for research outside the school, it’s just as difficult as in any other institution. You’ll just need to have a good application with a good CV and LORs to go to a good a good program.

El ultimo grupo mi día fue a las 3:30

Las entrevistas MMI duran alrededor de 50 minutos, y después hay un tour de unos 20 minutos por la escuela, dado por estudiantes de primer año de Medicina. En total, el proceso toma aprox. 1 hora y 20 min.

I believe it must be 8 credits of college level Spanish. But call the School to verify!

OOS II today ! Question regarding the interview, how much was Spanish/english? Were you able to reply only in Spanish, a mix of both? I know it is MMI format but just wanting to prepare 🙂
